Glitches, unreliable, never worked properly. Now outside BestBuy's ridiculous return window, so I'm stuck with it.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Chromebook Duet. Be sure the Chromebook Duet has a charged battery. Plug the AD adapter/charger in to the device and a wall socket. There is a LED light right near that device side port to plug the AC adapter/charger into the device. The device is getting power if the LED light is on. If the LED is not on, the issue may be with the AC adapter. We recommend you take the Chromebook Duet to your local Best Buy and test another AC adapter with the device. If the LED light comes on, let the tablet charge for 15-minutes. Now press the power button and the device should boot normally. If it does not, try resetting your Chromebook. Here is a link to instructions for resetting a Chromebook: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/183084?hl=en. If the problem remains after a reset or you are unable to reset the Chromebook, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support for Chromebooks for additional help at: 800-426-7378.

For security reasons and to save battery charge, Chromebooks will automatically turn off their screens and enter sleep or standby after a certain amount of idle time. Typically this happens after the Chromebook has been left untouched for about 10 minutes. Powering a chromebook down is important because it has to be started up the next time it's used and powering up a chromebook is an essential element in its security system.
