Customers regard the IdeaPad Duet Chromebook favorably, particularly praising its ease of use, included keyboard, and excellent battery life. The device's value for the price and compact size are also frequently cited as positive aspects. While some users mention limitations in the amount of RAM and the sound quality of the speakers, the overall user experience appears to be quite positive.

Great product and great value at this price point. If you are looking for a tablet as well as a portable laptop for browsing the web, viewing videos and doing light work, then this Chromebook is for you.

Fantastic value. This is a great tablet/keyboard combination. The keyboard is a little cramped, but you get use to it. This is a perfect item to take when traveling, instead of taking a more expensive laptop.

Excellent product. It’s a tablet, a laptop and Linux device in one. Runs Android. The most budget friendly chrome book out there. Slow upon startup but picks up and runs great once you give it a sec.

Amazing tablet for the price! Works great for browsing and digital illustration. Excellent battery life and very fast. The fact that the keyboard came bundled with it as well just sealed the deal.

For mobility, I rarely use this device as a tablet, but even with an attached keyboard it can be binded together and put in a small bag like tablet.if you are a potential user as a tablet, it would be more suitable.
The computational performance is price appropriate. Given a lighter design of the Chrome OS you would not be frustrated with it when browsing or writing emails/documents. I additionally activated Linux environment and built some platforms for development, which was a bit demanding for this device. Especially, installation of some major python packages even took much longer time. But once installed it worked appropriately.

I should preface my review by stating that this is my first Chromebook. The tablet is a great size and the keyboard is fairly easy to use (I don't have large hands). I've read about it having a great screen, but I honestly think it depends on one's prior experience. I am accustomed to Samsung and Apple screens and while this screen beats an Asus chromebook I bought and didn't keep, it can't compare to Samsung or Apple. It's certainly workable, though. It is very slow to charge, but the battery does last a good long time. So far, I have three gripes. The first is that the charging cord is ridiculously, painfully, and impractibly short. It won't even reach the floor if you are sitting in a chair. Unless you are sitting at a desk with an outlet right there, you will need an extension cord. You have to wonder about the people who make such incredibly stupid decisions! The second thing is a problem related to screen dimming. I don't yet know whether it's this particular device or whether it's a chromebook problem. Every so often, the screen dims, for no reason I can discern. It is not related to screensaver as it can also happen when I'm using it, and I just can't figure out any rhyme or reason to it. There aren't any settings that change it. There are not enough reviews yet to know if anyone else is having this problem. The third gripe is Lenovo's abysmal support system. I have spent a ridiculous amount of time on their website already. I can't even figure out how to actually contact them. Chat doesn't work. Their phone directs you to the website where it says you can schedule a call back. Ha! Absolutely no way to do that. Don't see an email address or any way that actually works to contact them. I can't even figure out how to register my device with its serial number in my account info. I scanned the code on my box, but it did not connect to my account. It won't let me enter it anywhere. I am old enough to have seen the very first computers, and I have to say, Lenovo's website is the most unusable, awful tech website I have ever had the misfortune of using. Good luck if you need any help from them. I am completely on my own trying to figure out the dimming problem, so this unit may be going back to the store.

The Duet is a good tablet with a keyboard. It functions as a chromebook but you can also just use it as a tablet. The magnetic cover is strong and works very well as a stand. The keyboard comes on and off easily but not so easy that it is coming unattached when you don't want it to.
There are some software issues with running android apps on the tablet mode. Mostly I noticed that app isn't displaying at the correct resolution so it isn't as crisp as it should be. There is a bit of a learning curve to using it as an android tablet. I have not had any issues when running the normal Chrome OS desktop mode.

This is an incredible value, especially for kids. You can't get a touchscreen Chromebook for less than this price, but this gives you that, and it works like a tablet. I bought one for all three of my kids (and my mom) as the value here verses another Chromebook or Laptop under $300 isn't there. You're not going to use this for any heavy duty computing of course, but for the basics you won't find a better value. It performs well, is portable and sturdy. Only other notes is it's a bit heavier than a tablet, and I'd recommend a screen protector as, if you break the glass, Lenovo does NOT make a screen replacement. So spend the ten bucks or so on a glass protector, it's well worth the investment.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Duet Chromebook. This sleek and light 2-in-1 Chromebook switches from business to fun as easily as it switches from laptop to tablet mode. Simply detach the plug-and-play keyboard, and you have an ultraportable 10.1-inch tablet ready to entertain you. In laptop mode, the typical size of laptop keyboard is comfortable and responsive, while the 400 nits FHD display is visually appealing in either mode. Enjoy thousands of apps from Google Play Store, superfast boot-up, more than 8 years of automatic updates, and USI stylus support. Get creative. Or get busy.

I needed something at work that was more discreet than a regular laptop. This works perfectly. It's just the right compact size and functions great as a tablet or notebook. If you use a bluetooth mouse with it, it will function in notebook mode automatically even without the keyboard attached. Chrome OS has its significant limitations, but it's not my primary computer, and this setup has enough apps, speed, RAM, and storage for my needs in the location I'm using it. It is well worth the price when it is on sale.

The first thing to know is this will be a secondary device or tablet first for most people The tablet itself is amazing; lightweight, great display, decent speakers. When put all together with the included keyboard and kickstand and it becomes a very capable laptop.
However, the keyboard IS cramped. I wouldn't want this to be my only Chromebook only for that fact. It's fine to type on for short periods, but I wouldn't want to write a novel on this. But, when putting everything together and considering the price, Lenovo has knocked it out of the park. This is an amazing value.

This is my first Chromebook, I never really used a tablet before, but I realized that I never use my 15" laptop for anything more than watching videos or browsing the web. The worst thing about my old laptop was waiting for it to power on, it would literally take 1-2 minutes before it was of any use. This little guy boots in 10-15 seconds, and wakes from sleep instantly. It never gets hot, works well as an e-reader, and can stream F1TV all day, which is the main reason I got it. It's not a replacement for a windows laptop, but it works better than a windows laptop for my purposes.
