Customers regard the IdeaPad Duet Chromebook favorably, particularly praising its ease of use, included keyboard, and excellent battery life. The device's value for the price and compact size are also frequently cited as positive aspects. While some users mention limitations in the amount of RAM and the sound quality of the speakers, the overall user experience appears to be quite positive.

However, can y'all sell some extra replacements for the magnetic stands? I love the fabric on it but there are few little fly-aways that have raised by where the stand opens/closes and I have clipped them with a scissor to keep it neat. It's VERY small but I know (myself) and with time, eventually I will replace it with probably another fabric one because it is pretty and feels good on your fingers, or a non-fabric one for when I'm on the go/work. Or both.
Aside from that, there was this one video game (little big planet) that I noticed some colors "would not show". Something to consider if you're into that. Didn't bother me unless I died in the game, and this was a purchase more for school and work, which I was able to accomplish without any issues whatsoever. I did try to look up how to fix the issue online and saw others also commented on this issue. Perhaps Lenovo/Chrome needs to add an advanced Color Resolution menu.
School work, I was able to take a full exam with the Honorlock extension which is now required for some students when taking exams through a computer, with audio/video/screen recording. This is why I bought this device and it worked perfectly.
No other issues internally or externally.

I find this chrome book/tablet very confusing. I save all my passwords in a password book, yet everytime I go to log into my chromebook it has me reset my password!!! I'm going back to a regular laptop.

Great chromebook / tablet. Plenty fast for casual browsing, gaming, and moderate work. I love being able to separate the keyboard from the tablet and using the built in kickstand to set it on a table to read. This tablet is also capable of using a USI stylus that Lenovo sells or you can buy one from amazon for around $40.

This was the perfect item for my high school age daughter. She was looking for something to be able to use as a tablet and needed a laptop. This has enough storage to do either. Great picture on it, but only issue we have run into is she when she is using it to draw then her hand will make marks on the screen accidentally.

My daughter loves her new Chromebook Duet! It is much faster and more portable than the one she was given at school and she now has dual screens to work with! She is very happy. Don't get me wrong, not a heavy lifter for video editing massive projects, but wordprocessor and mini-project manager for middle school, fantastic.

This is the best chrome device I have ever used
Fast
Reliable
Great price
Just works
Comes with the detachable keyboard which is a huge plus and a back cover/kickstand which is a HUGE PLUS. Usually all that stuff is sold separate and cost a tone
And had no problem downloading all my apps from mobile devices and regular chrome web apps

This sleek and light 2-in-1 Chromebook switches from business to fun as easily as it switches from laptop to tablet mode. Simply detach the plug-and-play keyboard, and you have an ultraportable 10.1-inch tablet ready to entertain you. In laptop mode, the typical size of laptop keyboard is comfortable and responsive, while the 400 nits FHD display is visually appealing in either mode. Enjoy thousands of apps from Google Play Store, superfast boot-up, more than 8 years of automatic updates, and USI stylus support. Get creative. Or get busy.

I've been using, or I should say fighting with, this Chromebook for almost 6 months now. Looking at the other reviews, perhaps I got a lemon but I am ready to go Office Space on this thing. I only use it regularly for things like controlling the Google Home app, light online shopping/checking email, occasional reading, and playing a tablet game at bedtime - all in all an average of 30-60 minutes per day, IF THAT. I keep up on all updates of the operating system and apps. When it works, it's good - compact size, keyboard option, decent graphics. But it is CONSTANTLY dropping Wi-Fi and giving me time out errors on anything Google-related (Chrome internet, Gmail, Google Home app). The "help" solution for Wi-Fi was to keep Bluetooth off for a known issue so I can't use wireless headphones - not a good solution. We took it on a recent trip to watch movies on the plane and it kept buffering DOWNLOADED videos and timing out. The whole reason I got a Chromebook was b/c most of my electronic life is with Google but it's such a frustrating device, I'm already shopping for something different. The most recent issue that was the deciding factor in not keeping it, is now some of my apps, including Google apps, are giving me an error message that they are no longer supported on this device.

The Duet chromebook tablet is a very slick piece of tech. Got this for my 6yr old to use for school and had no issues setting up a google account and parental controls for it. It uses google play store android apps so there's a wide range of apps available.
Build quality is excellent and as expected for a tablet device.
The device is a tad slow to load video apps such as netflix, but it does run Zoom without too much issue. I suspect lag is due to CPU choice here, so this won't be doing heavy work loads.
The only issues that I've really had with it is that there are some compatibility issues with the USB-C. I have a Anker PD nano charger that this would not charge from even though all my other USB-C devices work fine. The other issue was with an Aukey USB-C hub, which would not charge and run ethernet at the same time. I did get another Anker hub where both work fine.
The one complaint is that there's only 1 USB-C port, otherwise, great for the price and works well.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Duet Chromebook. There is one USB Type-C version 2.0 port on this device. Be sure any peripherals you try to connect are compatible with USB Type-C version 2.0. The Duet Chromebook port should be backward compatible, but this may vary depending on the peripheral device. There is a USB-c to 3.5 mm adapter included with the Duet Chromebook for connecting a headset to the Duet Chromebook.

The screen developed numerous horizontal lines in panorama view several months after purchase. Initially, only one line then at least 10 lines developed. The touch screen seems overly sensitive at times and unresponsive at other times.

So far so good. Tablet and a laptop. I'm new to google chromebook so everything feels great. It's quick and either touch or keyboard works quick. Going to tablet is seemless and the apps available are a lot more than I expected. Casting to other devices is simple too.

On the whole this is a nice 2 in 1. Very pleased with the ease of set up, ease of use, and overall user-friendly functionality. Light-weight, compact, very good battery life, and a full charge in a couple of hours. I would actually give this 4.5 stars if possible. Two things could be a problem: the keyboard is very small - fast typists might have a problem, and the speakers really "suck" for music. In order to hear anything the volume setting must be high and I have found distortion frequently. For viewing instructional, talking type videos, they are fine. A decent headset will be a must for any serious audio needs. All in all a great product, would recommend for light duty work, social media and entertainment tasks. Get a decent headset if you are picky about your audio.

This chromebook packs in a lot for the how much it costs. It is very lightweight as a tablet but gets heavier when you add the back cover and keyboard.
The keyboard is a bit crammed and takes a little getting used to.
