    Very portable Chromebook

I bought this Lenovo Chromebook tablet as an "open box" item so the price was excellent. I've not tried using it a a pure tablet, but with the keyboard it behaves as a perfectly normal Chromebook. It is a bit small, at 10 inches, and can be hard for old eyes to read until you add some magnification. It's surprisingly dense giving the impression of being solidly built. I solved the problem of there being only one external port, a USB-C, by using an external docking hub (with power delivery). When adding an external monitor through the hub, the Chromebook declined going to the full 1080p resolution on it, but that's a relatively minor issue. My hope is that (once the pandemic is over and we can become more itinerant) this will become first choice for carrying around.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Chromebook Duet. There is one port on the Duet: a single USB-C port that's capable of 18W (9V/2A) charging and 1080p 30Hz video output (though you'll get bumped down further to 720p 60Hz on most monitors). We are pleased to hear that the Chromebook Duet is working out so well for you. Lenovo

It's a good 2 in 1. For the price and what you get, can't beat it. I agree with others though, a little lag and not as smooth as a iPad or Samsung. But you save hundreds for the amount of memory and keyboard you get included. Would recommend!

This chromebook works really well, it's fast and it has a great quality in the display, the only bad thing is that screen is super fragile so I recommend to buy a screen protector. The keyboard keys some are small and the mouse pad responds super good.

Light and portable. A bit slow but not too bad considering the price. Screen is small, but if portability is important, then it's hard to beat the value this offers for how small it is.

This is a tremendous value! Not the highest end specs, but it's a very capable device for the average user...and for the price ($229 NIB, $175 open box), you just can't beat this. Keyboard works great, and with Lenovo's USI pen on the way, I'm all set. 100% satisfied with my purchase!

Very nice 2-in-1 Chromebook for this price tier with keyboard included. Portable and easy to carry with you wherever you go. Some keys are a bit small due to the size of the Chromebook so have to get used to it. It only has one type C port so need to get a USB type C hub if want to connect more devices. One issue bothers me is that occasionally it tend to freeze unexpectedly while using it. Happened to me a few times and needed to turn it off and back on to fix the issue. I did some research online and it seems like a common issue for this Duet model not sure if the problem is caused by Chrome OS or hardware. Overall it is a good product for the price.

This is a great value for such a full featured chromebook. The optional usi stylus is a must have. The magnets for the case and keyboard included with the chromebook are powerful and keep the covers on sturdy. Two friends have already ordered this chromebook for themselves.

Tablet is being use mostly by my kids and they love it. I also use it occasionally and is a very capable tablet very fast and responsive. All android apps we have installed worked fine. The only thing my kids complain is that the sound is too low other than that I really recommend this tablet.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Duet Chromebook. This sleek and light 2-in-1 Chromebook switches from business to fun as easily as it switches from laptop to tablet mode. Simply detach the plug-and-play keyboard, and you have an ultraportable 10.1-inch tablet ready to entertain you. In laptop mode, the typical size of laptop keyboard is comfortable and responsive, while the 400 nits FHD display is visually appealing in either mode. Enjoy thousands of apps from Google Play Store, superfast boot-up, more than 8 years of automatic updates, and USI stylus support. Get creative. Or get busy. Lenovo

great value for the tablet experience, nice to have the keyboard when needed. since google discontinued their nexus/pixel tablets, I have been looking for a Google ecosystem tablet not bogged down by a heavy UI, this chrome OS unit is outperforming android OS tablets

I love how you can use this as a tablet or pc. It was affordable and it’s very user friendly. I set this up and use it when I need recipes or anything in the kitchen . My son uses it to play games . So everyone uses it in their own way and it meets our needs.

There are so many things to like about this tablet/Chromebook thing. It's a really nice looking device. Aesthetically, I loved the shell, the case, and even the keyboard. However, the actual experience of using this device is nowhere near as good as the actual Android tablet experience. I did a comparison of 3 tablets in front of my eyes. Lenovo Duet Tab S5e Fire HD 10 I spent plenty of time with all three tablets and I have to say that this one was, in practice, the least functional. Sure, it claims to have all these features and functionalities, but there seems to be an issue in the software or something that prevents the device from treating content normally. For instance. I sat all three tablets on a tablet, one above the next, and synced up a video on Netflix. I chose an animated feature (Batman) so that I could clearly see where compression or other issues may occur. What I found was a few things. The Duet does not handle video correctly. In fact it squishes the video. It also cannot display content from Android apps with the same quality as by using the Chrome browser. This is the biggest bummer for me. If you use the Netflix app, it will have far worse picture quality, higher compression, and worse performance than just going to Netflix.com. Between the three tablets, the Duet had the worst speakers. In fact, they're so quiet I'd almost wonder why they bothered. The display is the worst amongst the three as well. That makes sense vs the S5e, but against the Fire tablet? That was shocking. The Fire tablet, by the way, had no issues playing content correctly. The Duet has washed out colors, poor viewing angles, and a slow response GTG. I spent a lot of time watching reviews and most of the reviewers were praising the display. I do not know if we experienced the same device. Pros: -Looks great. -Feels great. -Case and keyboard are awesome. -Responsive Cons: -Washed out display. -Issues displaying content correctly. -Android Apps do not function as well as navigating to their websites instead. -Bad compression for video in Android Apps -Terrible speakers -Worse overall performance than a Fire HD 10. -Chrome OS is still not quite where it could be.

I love this tablet with keyboard. I had gotten my wife a tablet for Christmas which she uses daily so knew I wanted one for myself. This one was perfect for me. I was not familiar with CHROME but Geek Squad helped me load my Webroot and Microsoft Office. Works GREAT.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Chromebook Duet. Chromebooks do not need 3rd party Virus Protection Software. All Chromebooks receive free VPS from the Google Server every time the Chromebook connects to the internet. installing any other VPS can damage your Chromebook. This is a Chromebook. It uses Google Docs for office type programs. Google Docs is completely compatible with Microsoft Office Programs and this is a free service through the Google Server. If you must have the actual Microsoft Office Programs, you can purchase Microsoft Office 365 for this Chromebook at the Google Play Store. Lenovo

Purchased on a deal with Sony Headphones, switched from an Apple iPad to this convertible tablet Chromebook. Keyboard hooked up, it acts like a Chromebook or laptop. And when the keyboard is pulled, works as a tablet or oversized phone. Easy to use for myself, my wife, and 8 year old son.

Very happy with the tablet, when it works. It has repeatedly turned off without reason. I thought it was a brick and tried to get ahold of support without any luck. Hours latter, and constantly working the power button, it powered up. I found a firmware update and installed it. All seemed well for almost a week until this morning. It just went off for no reason. It refused to restart for 20 minutes. The battery was >80%, 2 tabs open, minimal load. Just off. I hope it can figure what to do, as I really like it a lot, but I am starting to get some buyers remorse. Maybe just get a Samsung tablet. Not expecting any help from this retailer.

Other reviews say this is good for school kids, but I'm here to say this old lady of 50 something is very happy with this chromebook tablet. Good picture quality for movies or TV shows and nice size for reading books. Good to have keyboard option if I decide to write my memoirs. Lol.
