Levota Big Deal in small Package
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first Chrome This one didn’t have all the bells & whistles but hit all my primary reasons to make the purchase. I like the keyboard option to use or not use . I find the keyboard easier to use & slightly bigger than I thought it would be on a 10.1 screen unit! I could use the lighted keyboard, but have moved past it. I like the keyboard or option of the touch screen which hit my primary must have & the Bluetooth, WiFI are icing on the cake . The price point wasn’t the deal breaker but compared to the high end , this is a Solid Unit that may fall under the radar. I’m frankly hooked on it & believe it’s the best bang for your Buck ! I bought it before Christmas a couple weeks unexpectedly found an open box special & brand new as far as I’m concerned & added the extended warranty with the added savings. Anyway, I anticipated with knowing my gift was wrapped under the tree & my own purchase, but was really all I wanted. I get infusions every 28 days & I’ve loaded my favorite apps to start . I love ok forward to it bringing me great joy & personal use for bill pay , surfing the Web or watching my favorite movie, YouTube or Facebook. It’s all there & so far I Love it . A great investment! Great Price & Quality all wrapped up in one & did I mention over 10 hours of charge time ! I have no Cons except I should have bought it sooner! Comes with a Quality Case , can’t complain . Only purchase I made to add was a $6 stylus pen , when my fingers are a little big !

Fantastic Secondary Device, Awkward Primary
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the iPad, but I got tired of seeing it as the dominant tablet to purchase. Granted, the iPad is still the best tablet to buy on the market, but the Duet makes a very tempting offer. While the Lenovo Duet isn't perfect, it's easily a step in the right direction for an iPad alternative. At $300, you've got everything to use it right out of the box. It's very easy to carry around for short or long travels; the ability to remove the keyboard and the back cover and just use the tablet itself gives room for a lot of versatility. Battery life is really good, and the screen is still better than most Chromebooks that are twice the price of the Duet. The area where this falls apart is using it as a primary device. The keyboard is a bit flimsy, and I hope Lenovo is able to sell replacement parts soon for the Duet. Because while I love having a free keyboard, I have had moments where I feel like I'll break it. At least the typing is good, despite how small some of the keys can be. But back to using it as a primary device, the 10.1 in screen is perfect for Android gaming, and the occasional media consumption. But I would recommend buying this if you already have a larger screen Windows laptop or Chromebook. In fact, I'd still recommend buying a larger screen Chromebook if you're going to buy just one device, like the Acer Spin 713. But even with the issues I brought; $300 isn't that much to ask for a brand new device, and it's well worth the purchase if you're not interested in the iPad.

Posted .This sleek and light 2-in-1 Chromebook switches from business to fun as easily as it switches from laptop to tablet mode. Simply detach the plug-and-play keyboard, and you have an ultraportable 10.1-inch tablet ready to entertain you. In laptop mode, the typical size of laptop keyboard is comfortable and responsive, while the 400 nits FHD display is visually appealing in either mode. Enjoy thousands of apps from Google Play Store, superfast boot-up, more than 8 years of automatic updates, and USI stylus support. Get creative. Or get busy.

The best of both worlds.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking for the functionality of a laptop with the versatility of a tablet, the Lenovo Chromebook Duo is a great place to start. Not only do you have a fully functional tablet that runs almost all the trusty Android apps you use on your phone everyday, it also transforms into a small, but equally as powerful laptop for when you need to get some more serious work done. The included keyboard connects to the tablet magnetically and appears to be pretty well attached. Though I won't stand behind the durability tests I have seen on some review videos where the reviewer claims the keyboard can hold its own even with the screen portion dangling from it. What I do like however, is how well the keyboard itself performs. Though it is a little small, it offers a good typing surface with responsive keys and trackpad. Performance is about what you would expect from a device on this price range, if not better. The good thing is that the ChromeOS will not slow down with extended use like most Windows computers in this class do. I watch all kinds of streaming content and use pretty powerful apps and some light medium duty games on this tablet and it performs very well. Only a few things I would like to see in the next model would be an actual headphone jack and a backlit keyboard. You can use headphones with this with the included USB-C adapter but it is really unnecessary and tends to stick out like a sore thumb when using it.

Price and Finish are excellent
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Tablet options from Chrome OS have been ether cheap or to big. Lenovo has found the perfect balance with price and quality. This little tablet feels great in the hand. Easy to read a boot or web surf for long periods. Add the magnetic back and watch movies all day thanks to the great battery life. Pop on the keyboard and get some light work done.

Great Combination: Chromebook and Tablet Size
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a chromebook user for several years because its speed, simplicity, and affordability. I wanted the Chrome OS in a tablet size. There are only a few such tablets available and the Duet easily offered the best in quality, features, and price. Especially with the keyboard, it is a nice portable, functional tablet for everyday use. The feature of OS updates to 2028 is quite significant, too. I'm quite pleased with it.

Excellent Tablet, 2-in-1
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great deal. A capable tablet with a keyboard and kickstand included!!, Good Chrome OS Tablet which is way better then any Android based cheap tablets sold in the market. Good performance, nice bright screen, amazing battery life and Google Play store for all applications. Worth the investment for casual browsing, media consumption and lite productivity work. Perfect as a secondary system to get the work done on the go :-)

Value, versatility, and performance
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Value - great at the $299 going rate for the 128 GB model and even better at Best Buy's $229 sale price. Versatility - the three components (tablet, keyboard, and cover w/ kickstand) allow me to switch between using it as a tablet or laptop with ease. Performance - it does everything I had hoped it would and the battery life is excellent. The keyboard would probably be difficult for someone with larger hands.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Is the perfect combination of a tablet and a notebook ,works very well, fast with several tastings ,the keyboard is comfortable. The overall construction is impeccable and the price unbeilable. The idea of the back support magnet with a nice canvas is a really pretty touch. I strongly recommend it specially 128 gb model ,for the price is a steal. BTW the battery last more than 10 hours. Buy it ,you will not be disappointed .

Extremely long bettery and comfortable to carry.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery lasts full two days without charging. So light and versatile. Can carry everywhere. One downside is a little bit sluggish for multi-tasking. I accept low system capacity as it is only $299 including a full keyboard. I think the best thing is it runs on chrome browser so that my Gmail and youtube and other frequently visited websites are always updated. Overall great value for money.

Almost perfect for my specific uses, great value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This chromebook is NOT a do everything chromebook. There are some limitations on it. I would not recommend it as a primary device, however as a secondary device, it fits into my workflow perfectly. I am a graduate student and many of the materials I need to read and study are in an electronic form, so I purchased this mainly for the use of consuming text, media, and using it as a secondary monitor with the aptly named "Duet" app. It allows me to extend the screen of my main non-chromebook laptop so I have more real estate to work with when its time to crack down. Its a great media consumption device and having the ability to easily carry around a full desktop version of chrome is amazing. Im pretty entrenched into the Google ecosystem, so chromebooks have most of the capability I need to keep my life in order. Keyboard is perfectly workable, however the trackpad is a little unbearable. Since my setup uses it mostly in tablet form, I don't dock it too much for that. Highly recommend it if you have a specific use for it and would only be using it as a secondary device. Performance is not great so I considered giving it 4 stars, but the value is 5 stars. If there was a 4.5 star option, thats where I would rank this. Disappointed Lenovo has not come out with their USI stylus yet but when they do I will check it out.

Solid performer in a small package...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an old Acer Chromebook that I rode the wheels off of that I wound up getting rid of a few weeks ago, it was slow and out of support, so need to hang on to it any longer. As many of us have been working from home, there's been no real need to replace due to access to multiple laptops. That said, we will be venturing on a long overdue vacation at the end of November, and want to take something with me to access work, while not costing a lot, that can also double as a tablet. This fits the bill perfectly. Small, lightweight, detachable keyboard allows you to do double-duty as a tablet, works with Chrome OS and Android apps from the play store, is fast enough to get the job done, and I won't cry if something happens to it while on vacation, as I took advantage of last week's sale for $229 from Best Buy. Is it going to keep up with a Pixel Book, or a higher end device from other manufacturer's? No, but that's also not what this device is designed for. It gets the job done for basic desktop functions easily enough, and that's what I bought it to do.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this Chromebook for about 2 weeks now. It’s fast., has a beautiful screen, and a very long battery life. The Chromebook is small enough to carry anywhere. Love that it has a keyboard case and back stand. The keyboard is small but works for me! I take it with me wherever I go. If you’re looking for something on the smaller side this the way to go......

||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchase this for my daughter who uses it on a daily basis. I brought it concerned that.the removable keyboard might not be the best. But that's one of the best features of all. I saw her constantly use it. I occasionally used it myself to try it out and evaluate it. I decided to buy its Big Brother, the duet 5, for myself.

Best Chromebook for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is easily the best Chromebook for 2020 at this price point. I use this for Zoom sessions with my students and for other web based errands. It is snappy and never lags. I can have multiple tabs open and don't notice any slow down. The webcam isn't that great, but I just pop in a Logitech webcam into that USB C slot via an adapter and problem solved. The speakers are surprisingly good, NOT GREAT, but good. It works great with the Lenovo USI Stylus, no real lag taking notes on Squid. Battery is excellent and gives me a solid 8 to 10 hours depending on what I am doing. The keyboard is a bit cramp, but it gets the job done and I wasn't expecting it to be huge given the size of the Duet. Overall, I am very happy with this little guy and we get update/support for 8 years.
