Ditch your Android tablet for this

The Duet is what every Android tablet should aspire to be - a Chromebook. I've always had Android tablets, but this is just a better experience. It's worth it for the full desktop version of Chrome alone. Throw in a slick detachable keyboard and it's a really functional device for getting some light work done if you need it for that. You won't be typing as fast as you can on a full size keyboard, but it's serviceable and the touchpad works great. Processor may not have earth shattering performance, but it's great for my primary use of browsing the web and pages load plenty fast. I was really leaning toward a Surface Go, but I don't have a great need for windows apps and this comes with a keyboard included for dirt cheap, without feeling cheap. It's a solid device and I hope other manufacturers take this route with their designs. Great in tablet mode and switches to Chromebook mode when the keyboard is attached. Value factor is strong with this one and I don't see why anyone would by a standard Android tablet over this.

It's a great 2 in 1 table/Chromebook by Lenovo. It's detachable/attachable keyboard make it different from regular 2 in 1 chromebooks. Unlike other Android tablets, keyboard is also included with this table. It's also fast and reliable & got plenty of space (128 GB). 5 stars!

This is my first tablet and Chromebook and so far the experience has been great with this product. I was looking for a device that would be handy for reading, light work-related stuff, and streaming videos. I did not want it to be unwieldy like my laptop or too small to work on like my smartphone. This tablet fits the bill perfectly. For a very reasonable price, it comes with a keyboard and has 128 GB worth of space. The battery is great and lasts for long. Most Android apps run smoothly and the touch response is good (not stellar but nothing to complain about). Some minor nitpicks are that it lacks ports apart from the charging port and has no memory card slot; also it does not come with a stylus(say for a small additional price). But overall it's a steal and it's no wonder it goes out of stock so quickly, had to wait for quite some time before I got it and am thrilled with the product so far.

I bought this chromebook during the pandemic and doing remote classes because I was tired of having to carry around my heavier macbook and unplug my macbook from my desk and the extra monitors i had connected to it so I could use it elsewhere in the house. The first one I bought was glitchy and had screen issues so I returned it and exchanged it for a new one. Ever since the exchange I've loved this chromebook and have consistently used it for the past 1.5 years I've had and had not had screen or glitch issues since. It works great for note taking, doing zoom meetings, check emails and everything in between. It is my go to. I've actually being using my mac less in lieu of this because i prefer using it a lot more and it is lighter and easier to transport. I highly recommend.

As small as a tablet, fits in a little sling bag, dues everything I need on a computer and costs less than an iPad. For anything cloud based, web browsing and email you won't know the difference between this device and a computer. You can also download Netflix and prime videos for offline viewing. Just an ideal travel machine.

This is my first Chromebook and I'm very happy with this purchase. You just can't beat the value this product has and what it offers. I love how fast it boots up and shuts down. The keyboard takes some getting use to because some keys are half the size, but the keys have nice travel and it’s a pleasure to type on (no back light). The screen looks amazing with the resolution and brightness. The speakers are weak in the volume department but it's not a deal breaker for me. And let’s not forget the battery which lasts a long time. All in all I love this Chromebook and with all the updates this will get from Google it should get even better.

I picked this up as a replacement for my child’s laptop due to the e-learning from home situation. Boy was I surprised at the value that this provides, its quick snappy response allows you to have multiple tabs open, even viewing multiple videos without experiencing any slow down. The fact that it runs the Google Play store apps as well as chrome apps is a extreme plus. Now let’s discuss the hardware the screen is excellent. What a crisp picture! The keyboard is solid, gives good response and feedback, trackpad as well and the fact that it even includes the cover all for the price of an estimated $300 is an amazing deal. I have purchased pricier chrome books which proved to be less of a value then this special gem. If you’re on the fence and looking for a new chrome tablet (which is all metal and sleek) the user interface is simple and a great experience this is it. Or if you’re looking for a replacement for one of your chrome books but you want a more portable experience, or if you just have a student in the house who needs a quick chrome book for e-learning as well as viewing entertainment this is a must have.

I can't believe this machine exists and they sell it at this price point. I haven't been this blown away by a device since I bought an iPad for the first time like 10 years ago. I love that it comes with the keyboard, the feel of the Duet is sturdy and even luxurious? I'm really pleased with my little Duet. Perfect for emailing, Netflix'ing, writing on the go, web surfing on the couch while watching TV, etc. I would 100% recommend this for anyone looking for a tablet/laptop for themselves as a toy or for light work, or even for young kids stuck at home doing Zoom for school. For this price, it blows even the new iPad or Surface Go's out of the water. I've been really pleased with my Lenovo devices in the past, and this Duet is no exception. Lenovo now sells a USI stylus, which I'm looking forward to using for notes, journaling, editing, and light writing. As of writing, that stylus is not available for purchase on Best Buy's website. I would have loved to buy it directly from Best Buy instead of from Lenovo's website and wait like 3 weeks for it.

I bought 3 of these for my 6, 7,and 8 year olds to be able to do remote learning classes. (1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade) The touch screen they loved right off the bat, but the magnetic keyboard is my favorite. They can easily remove the keyboard if needed, but with built in gestures on the touch pad it makes it so easy to navigate. Google classroom is a wonderful app, where my kids can still be in the class with the B group, and participate as if they were there. Classroom even sends me a review everyday of each ones progress. This little machine packs a big punch for the price, its fast! The only thing I would change is a built in stylus would be awesome for handwriting, but its a little confusing as to which stylus will work best with it, since it is not included. Overall very pleased with purchase!

Overall, this is arguably the best laptop/tablet I've experienced in the past few years. It certainly outperformed my early 2015 MBP and unexpectedly even outperforms my early 2020 MBA. With not touting nearly the degree of specs as this early 2020 MBA, it handles double the workload with more consistency and efficiency than any of my recent Apple or Microsoft laptops. The detachable keyboard and trackpad are a nice package deal with this device, and work surprisingly well considering how compact it is, also being able to detach the keyboard and use the device strictly as a tablet is very nice indeed. Then the fact it is able to operate Chrome OS, Android apps & Linux (Beta-anyway) takes its overall versatility even further. Now, it's not perfect by any means and does have its glitches to deal with, but they are relatively minor by comparison. I would certainly recommend this to anyone, perhaps not as their primary workload device, but absolutely as a casual or supplemental device!

I bought this to replace aging Android Tablet. For that purpose this machine works very well. The display is excellent in both landscape and potrait mode( with the keyboard detached). The keybooard is cramped but usable. It detaches and reattaches easily. The tablet pairs nicely with a Logictech 535 mouse that I purchased, which another poster also noted in their review. Battery life is excellent. I browsed for three hours and barely used 10 percent of the battery. The quaity and construction are excellent. The value is also excellent, at the MSRP of $299.00 and an even better value when BB has this discounted further. If there is a weak part of this tablet, it is the processer. However, the processor is fast enough for simple browsing and especially with Android apps. This tablet comes with 128Gb storage, of which the Chrome OS uses 29GB or so. This unit will receive Chrome OS updates until June 2028 so it will be supported beyond the likely useful life of the tablet.

I have been using this device for literally everything accept for hardcore gaming for 2 days now. I have to say, I freaking love this tablet. It multi-tasks with zero issues. I've had 9 or 10 apps open at a time and it still operates without a hiccup. The included keyboard is a nice touch for a productivity booster. It is a bit cramped in size (duh the tablet is only 10 inches) but the keys feel nice and the trackpad is fairly accurate. I love that I have it as an option but this device honestly functions better as a tablet. I love Chrome OS's tablet mode. The UI is super intuitive and pleasant to look at. Also, the tablet has an incredible screen. Resolution is in between 1080P and 2K but it is very bright and handles colors very nicely. The speakers are decent, not great. Good quality but they get drowned out with background noise. All in all, this is quickly becoming my favorite device. At full price, it's an incredible bargain. With the Black Friday discount of $70 you'd be crazy NOT to buy it.

Picked this up during a sale for $199. I'm impressed how well this performs. I use this Chromebook to stream YouTube TV, Netflix, Hulu at home and while traveling. I also use this to browse and shop while the wife watches her shows on TV. Once I learned all of the gestures and keyboard shortcuts (yes, it comes with a keyboard and back cover with a kickstand) it was smooth sailing. Without the included keyboard and cover/stand, it is a slim and light. There is only a USB type C port for connectivity, but that's fine for me as I only use it to charge it. If you can get it on sale, buy it!

All in all I'm pleased with this unit, but it's on the heavy side, and Chrome is very slow. I really have found I don't use the keyboard very much, but it is nice to have the few times I've used it. The built-in cover is really great, makes it great for watching movies on an airplane seat back tray. The #1 thing I love about this is that it's a real Chrome browser with proper extensions, so I can run my ad blocker when reading online news sites. If Chrome apps didn't freeze and crash so much, I'd give it 4 starts, but between the app instability and weight, it's a definite "meh".

This is a really, really nice Chromebook tablet. I got one a few weeks ago to test it out for the school. I liked it and had a teacher and student try it out too and they fell in love with it. So I got 17 more for the school. Battery life is insane. Tablet was charged Sunday and with normal school use and me taking it home for 2 days to test the charge lasted 8 days (no typo, yes 8 days). Keyboard - while punctuation keys are a bit crammed together to fit the size, the letters have a good size to them and I am able to type at a pretty decent speed. My end users are 4th graders and this is not going to be a problem for them, in fact perfect size. Speakers are really decent for a tablet and their location is ideal. The only con is the lack of a headphone jack but everything else is so great for what I need that it does not merit getting rid of a star. I wish there was more money on the budget to get more of these babies.
