This is a great Chromebook. I love that it is detaches but is also a full keyboard instead of a smaller, hard to use sized keyboard. I love the blue and gray fabric cover, too. Since it detaches, there are so many ways to use this outside of a traditional Chromebook.

I love Android and this is my first entry into the Chromebook, but it feels a bit awkward. It's size is too heavy to be used as a tablet replacement and too small as a good laptop. It does hit that middle ground, but I'm not sure if I needed it.

This is the only product where I can say the retail price is an amazing deal. You get so much for so little. I carry this thing wherever I go.
My only worry is if the keyboard connection to the device will degrade over time with how much I bring it around. But so far it's working great!!

Mom of 3 littles and 2 of my 3 have. They use it as a tablet 99% of the time but we have connected and used the keyboard. This is something that will grow with them. Buying another for my 3 year old.

With all the specs and hype on this, I was hoping for more. Sadly the only good thing is the battery life, which lasts for a couple days with average use. Performance is slow, barely able to read kindle books, no games, and internet connections consistently drop. Of the 3 chromebooks in the house (all about the same price), this is the newest and worst performing.

Super small, but very hi-res screen. The keyboard is small too, but give it a few days and you'll get used to it. I can't wait for Lenovo to release their USI pen then this will be an iPad killer for me. The only port is usb-c and it is also the charging point; might be a problem for some.

Wifi Connection Issues

I have set my focus on detachable chromebook before purchase, but unfortunately, not too many options out there, and of those that are available, the price is simply too much to justify the purchase. (For all manufacturers out there, there is definitely a market for a detachable chromebook, not 2-in-1 or flip, but a real detachable tablet/laptop chromebook).
Extremely excited when Duet was introduced, and waited couple months before making the pruchase (avoiding the first batch syndrome). Set up was easy enough, managed to download a couple of apps from Play store, then put it aside. When returned a hour later, wifi been disconnected, and continue to search for connection. Rebooted my router, sat next to it; Turn OFF and ON the Duet again, no connection. Using my phone as Hotspot, able to connect with Duet again, and proceed to reboot the Duet and re-set up the Duet again. Hope there is a happy ending, unfortunately, couple hours later after connecting to wifi, it got dropped again. Went online and it appears that Duet does have connection issue, which are greatly discussed in various forum and sites, which pretty much seal the deal for its return to Best Buy.
One star is basically for the design concept consider how few detachable chromebooks are available out there, and in the day of internet, especially a chromebook that relies heavily on a consistent wifi connection, Duet has failed miserable (in my case anyway).
FWI, Duet is the only device that has such connection problem in all of my devices, from a 7 years old ipad mini to the 2020 ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14, none exhibited such random dropping connection except the Duet.

Great as a tablet and back up laptop. I’m not super familiar with chrome books, but this was simple enough to figure out. Wish I could find a case for the tablet itself for when the kids use it as a second “iPad”.

They were practically giving these away during the holidays send I decided to replace an older tablet with it. Very good choice. The tablet is snappy, no lag from a lack of ram, wireless connections are solid and the included case and keyboard are a great touch.

Now that my wife is working at home it's nice to have another option to print out my spreadsheets or documents.
I would have given it five stars if it had a full size keyboard and a USB port. Other than that it's just what I needed.

So much more versatile than I expected. Didn’t expect the amount of desktop capabilities. Almost did not want to upgrade but personal chrome books are not allowed for College Board school testing/certain private browsers. Which is unfortunate.

I like the chromebook, it is doing everything I wanted. I find that I use it more without the keyboard and it is a little hard to hold because it is so thin and the back is a little slippery. I would recommend and I would buy again

Pretty good value with one fatal flaw

The Duet generally works well and is a good value, except: The screen brightens and dims automatically, and there's no way to turn it off. The sensor for this is on the edge of the tablet, so if you hold it as a tablet, the screen will brighten and dim, brighten and dim, etc. Apparently, the setting to turn off the auto-brightness was removed recently from Chrome OS.
If you're never going to use this as a tablet, you might not have this problem, but if you are, prepare to be constantly annoyed by the screen changing its brightness. It's a terrible design flaw.

I just couldn't beat the price. It was on sale and I was looking for a small tablet. It has no problem connecting to my wi-fi. I have not really tried it in my car as of yet. Happy with it so far.
