I mean, it runs pretty well in games. But i noticed the battery would go down when plugged in. And the screen would annoyingly flicker from time to time when browsing. This flicker became REALLY consistent.

Nice machine for the price. Not using the pc as a gamer, but for my mechanical engineering test bed. Using SolidWorks with no issues. Added 8GB more ram and 500GB SSD. Great video card.

Great laptop for the price, the 135w charger that came with it isnt enough to play games, since the battery will deplete anyway, i bought a 170w cable on amazon for 30 bucks and fixed the issue, but still kinda sucks i had to find the solution myself, since lenovo customer support is so bad. But i loved the laptop and i will keep the review at 5 stars, its still a great price.

Performs better than expectations. Extremely snappy in general use and handles games with aplomb. The display is reasonably bright (but not fantastic); according to Lenovo's specs, it has 250 nits of brightness, with an anti-glare coating and a 800:1 contrast ratio, 45% NTSC color gamut, and 170-degree viewing angle. The display is ADM FreeSync-compatible and has a 120 Hz refresh rate. The touchpad is accurate and responsive. For reference, the graphics card is clocked at 1485 MHz (1597.5 MHz boost) with a TGP of 85W; the processor is a Ryzen 5 5600H with 6 cores (12 threads), at a base frequency of 3.3GHz (4.2 GHz boost). According to Lenovo's spec sheet, it can only support RAM at speeds up to DDR4-3200. I have not had the time to benchmark the system or figure out how long the battery lasts, but so far the best battery life estimate I got in Windows was around 5 hours with the brightness fairly low and Wifi connected. I tried to install AMD Ryzen Master to see if I could undervolt the processor, but the software said that the processor was not supported. The remainder of this review will discuss internals, upgradeability and repairability. Internal connectors: -m.2 2242 SSD (system drive) -m.2 2280 SSD (open) -2.5" SATA -2xSODIMM (1 populated, with Samsung 8GB DDR4-3200 RAM module) The 2.5" SATA connector is not attached internally. The box includes a drive caddy, screws, and a ribbon cable to attach to a header on the system board. Unfortunately, the 2.5" drive space overlaps with the unused m.2 slot, so you can't have 3 drives at the same time. The bottom cover is attached with 10 phillips-head screws, which are all visible. Once removed, you can start gently prying the cover off, which is attached with clips around the edges. The 4 screws on the edge closest to the trackpad are shorter than the other 6. Inside, there is a small thermal pad on the system drive and a metal cover over the 2 RAM slots that can be pulled back (it's attached via some very low-force clips). I added a spare 2.5" SSD and a matching RAM module with parts on hand and it handled them with no issues. Compared to other laptops I've opened/modified recently, I'd say that it is extremely easy to open, and nothing felt like it was close to breaking or bending. The Wifi module is a Mediatek MT7921. I haven't tried to install Linux yet, but based on some googling, it might not have support in the mainline kernel yet, so YMMV if you're going that route. Overall, I think this is a fantastic machine for the current sale price of ~$550.

Bought this laptop on sale on a whim and have yet to find something wrong with it. Runs Diablo 4 just fine amongst other games. Use this machine more than my custom built desktop due to travel and couldn’t be more impressed.

bought this on black friday and it has been the best purchase i have made just need to upgrade the ram and storage to add more games but overall amazing laptop

This was an amazing present for my mom. Not only is it a gaming laptop but it works perfectly for her when it comes to work. The quality is impeccable. I very much recommend this laptop for either gaming or everyday uses.

It’s a fully capable laptop for someone on the go. Runs good on mid - high settings. I only have 2 issues. 1 storage but when paired with an external ssd or upgraded it’s not an issue and it shows fingerprint.

I'm not a super heavy PC gamer I mainly play on PS5 but there are a few games on PC I wanted to try with a friend. It runs those games great with over 120 fps at 1440p. Only problem I have is battery life. Idk if I have a defective battery but the estimated time remaining will go from 2 hours to like 1 in less than 10 mins or 99 percent to 95 in 2 mins. Other than that good entry level PC that I can shop online, do productivity tasks and game on.

Traded in my old laptop as well as bought it on sale. All together I paid 300 and it has been worth every penny. This laptop is great for any gamer but I would recommend getting more storage and ram.

Any computer nowadays needs 16gb of ram. You can also add more storage using the nvme slot. Make sure to get a stand-off if adding an nvme. Otherwise. Its a good computer! Can play diablo 4 no problem

I really like this as my first gaming computer, though you would probably have to buy better ram and storage for it other then that it runs very smoothly.

Bought this for my son. He lives it the graphic are good and there no lag. I would upgrade the Ram for sure. Got it on sale for $507.00.
