It is very good. I use it for gaming and school and it has not caused me any problems. The only problem is that is it scratched very easily, I mean like even if you put it down on a hard surface it’ll get scratched.

so while on vacation I had to buy a new laptop because mine was doa when I got to the hotel. found this one on the website and decide to buy it since I needed a new laptop I like the performance of it so far but I hate the touch pad/mouse pad. my old laptop touch pad had a scroll bar on the far right side and left and right buttons at the bottom and this pad has non of that, on top of that you have to use 2 fingers to scroll and it's like airplane controls up is down & down is up took a while to get used to it and I still hate it but that's my only complaint so far it's a good laptop overall

The Laptop has great performance as it is. Adding an extra 8gb of ram really brings out what the laptop can truly do.

Performs great and has a great screen. The only addition that you need is another SSD. Installation of SSD is super simple.

Im very happy with my decision to purchase this laptop, first off it looks very nice. It's a fast computer especially if you decide to install an additional 8 gb of ram, which I did. The grafics are awesome, I play a couple games ( mx simulator and battlefield 2042) and these games have no problem running on this system, in my opinion Its great and can't imagine it running much better. It came with 250 gb Storage which is plenty but you can install even more which I did just because I like having more storage. It's works great for anything I have tried doing. Business, personal and even gaming.

The computer works great and very portable! I would 100% recommend this for casual gamers or just a starter gaming laptop/pc

The first thing I wish to point out is that the Lenovo rep in the Q&A section is wrong about the max memory of this unit. I purchased a 32GB (16GBx2) Crucial kit online and it works flawlessly. All 32GB is detected and available in the OS. The manual itself states that 64GB (32GBx2) will function in this unit as well, but I find that to be overkill and haven't tested such amounts. Over Black Friday this was a tremendous deal for a mid tier system. I've been tinkering with it over a week now and I've not had any real issues. Leave the Vantage software that comes with the unit installed. It will allow for light overclocking. It also has software to help with battery longevity if you plan on keeping the laptop plugged up most of the time. Another upgrade that can be easily completed by anyone is the addition of either a standard SSD or an M.2 2280 SSD. The first has the parts required in the box. The second does not. I still suggest the second though as M.2 SSDs are faster. To install the M.2 2280 you will need a mounting and standoff kit. Kits can be found online that have a variety of standoff sizes for less than 8 dollars. As far as performance goes. Anything I have thrown at this system has worked. Only the most modern and recently released games pull down the FPS. In those cases backing off on a few trivial graphics settings has been enough to get me back up into comfortable FPS range. Keep in mind that without a memory upgrade you will be losing out on 10-20% of your performance. Since you are running single channel memory. Lastly a decent cooling pad or something to lift it a few inches off the desk will help shave off a few degrees. It sits a little to flat on the desk for my taste. Buy it when on sale. Upgrade the memory to 16GB or 32GB and have a good time with it. It is all plastic, so treat it gentle.

I bought this laptop on sale for vr games. It runs all my vr games but the only problem is the 8 gigabytes of ram, which could easily be replaced with 16. Other than that this laptop is pretty solid for vr gaming

This is a great mid level gaming laptop and the gaming performance was excellent for the price. I purchased this while on sale for $549. Unfortunately had to return the supplied power brick was insufficient to keep laptop charged while gaming. It would still deplete battery even when plugged in and was only able to game for two hours before i would have to stop and let it recharge! I ended up returning it and going with the Asus TUF A15 2022!

Its a good entry level gaming laptop. I just upgraded to 32GB RAM and added an 1TB SSD. Paid $549 on a deal. Has an average battery life.

For a budget laptop if you dont have a computer already or are just lookiing for something to use on the go this laptop isnt too bad though for stationary gaming id still recommend getting a console

Great low end gaming laptop for the price. Only thing it needs is a bit more Ram and bigger SSD which can be added as budget allows.

It's a good laptop. But the ram and power supply kind of hold it back. You will have to spend an additional $100~200 on it to make it better.
