This will cause the battery to drain while plugged in and charging, but under maximum workloads. To charge the battery back to 100 Percent of battery capacity, lower the workload to a moderate level. OH MEN! Let me tell you something is like a MacBook! I can play warzone for hours and the fans not even move Don't go to youtube and watch reviews about the laptop they are picky about stuff the you can upgrade .

I like the look of it and it can play all the games I bought it for at max settings around 100fps. I don’t know what will happen or break in a few months to a year but right now I am extremely impressed with it.

The CPU and GPU are a great combo to play any games at over 100 FPS. I do notice that some people are complaining about the CPU temperature, but you can lower that by disabling the CPU boost and it runs a lot better. Also, you may need 170 w charger if you decide on using this as a gaming home setup

There are two reasons why i removed a star. First one is because it's a fingerprint magnet and the other is that you cannot change the keyboard light. Overall, its a really good laptop so far.

But then it happened to me, even with the rapid charging setting turned on.... Wow... Whoever designed this must have been straight out of school without any experience, I expect more from Best Buy, how an I suppose to play a game when it won't stay powered on??? What the heck Best Buy??? On top of this, they originally sent me the wrong laptop, I still haven't gotten my money back from it yet, and i was on the phone for 2 days trying to get three issue fixed. This whole experience has cost me so much time and effort.

I do have issues in that my photos were to be copied over, most were not. One of the more important things I paid good money for the geek squad to do.

Any other games the battery goes down even if plugged in because the charger is not strong enough.

This model IdeaPad ships with a 135W power adapter and an integrated 45Wh battery, which within this model configuration, has a battery life of up to 5 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery Charge Threshold is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. You can turn off Battery Charge Threshold within the Lenovo Vantage APP installed on this computer. In Vantage select Battery Settings and turn off Battery Charge Threshold, if turned on.
