Great budget laptop

Nice clean display and very impressive specs for price. Keyboard and and internals for cooling laptop is really impressive. Just sips power with I5 9300hf-1650 Lenovo vantage software helps tender battery. -The bad is my unit came with disconnected trackpad. -one 256gb ssd storage available. -optional storage has be expanded and hardware purchased separately.

Quality Control Lacking Screen Tears

However, if this laptop wasn't a lemon, the design of the laptop is quite nice. Keyboard feels good and the backlight is good however the keyboard backlighting isn't that bright. The speakers are good for this laptop however I sometimes hear a crackling sound out of the blue. The webcam blocker on this laptop is a plus! Overall, the laptop runs games at pretty decent settings probably medium 1080p for most games. Overall, I wanted to like this laptop since I got it a discount, sadly, I will have to it. 1 star for the design of the laptop, however quality control is lacking and also the employee that I had to deal with to get this thing was very rude.

Posted .Hello, we are sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue with the screen on your Lenovo IdeaPad L340. This sounds like it could be a driver issue with Nvidia Graphics Card. We recommend a clean install of the Nvidia drivers. This will require a utility called DDU. Here is a short video tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxiLwLCxmkk . When re-installing the the Nvidia graphics driver make sure that you install the mobile version of the driver since this is a laptop and this is the type of driver it will use. You have to press it with two fingers or press the lower right corner. Other than this, it is a nice laptop with great CPU.
