I use a hotspot for school, and if it weren't for the local school district providing the hotspot, I'm sure the laptop wouldn't have the connection issues. The 4-star rating is due to the awful trackpad (I think that's what it's called). Look, it works, but not to my expectations. Just doesn't work like others I have used in the last 15 years. I did buy it on a sale for 425.
