This laptop is very fast and works perfectly for my daily use. I have used different laptops before including Dell, but this one feels much better in terms of speed and performance. It boots quickly, runs multiple apps smoothly and does not hang. The design is also very sleek and premium. Battery backup is decent and charging is fast. Totally worth the money and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable laptop.

I have not had my computer for two weeks and I’m already having problems with it. I tried to turn my computer to use it. It usually automatically cuts on when you open the laptop. I have had a blank screen for 10 minutes now but I can hear the computer on. I tried turning it off and back on. It doesn’t work. I’m sooo annoyed. This is the second computer I have got from Best Buy that is malfunctioning within one month. Smh

When on sale, this laptop is 4/5! Otherwise, I'd say 3/5. TLDR: this is a good laptop if on sale and if the intent of the laptop is mainly for a lot of writing and streaming. Although I have not used it for high-demand apps or gaming, part of me is skeptical this laptop could manage or make that enjoyable due to the lowered screen brightness and durability. Positives: This Lenovo laptop is lightweight and speedy, and it does everything I need as a fulltime English major and as a person who uses streaming and movies as their preferred entertainment. I'm able to have multiple tabs and apps open without issue, which is great for research and multi-tasking. For example, I was recently writing a paper and had three instances of Chrome with over ten tabs each, four instances of Microsoft Word, one instance of Adobe Acrobat with six tabs, and iTunes open simultaneously, all with minimal delay! I have used this laptop almost daily for about three months, and usually I can work on this laptop for six to twelve hours on a single charge. The charging cable is long, and so far I've had no issues with overheating or stress points. There are also plenty of ports for USBs, mice, external disk drives, etc., and I've not had an issue with connectivity with any! As this is a school laptop, I have not used it for any games or high-demand apps, so I am unsure how they would handle on this device. Negatives: Luckily, I got this on sale for around $350, but I think that should have been its original price point - not $800 - especially when taking into consideration brightness, keyboard, and durability for other laptops at a similar price point. The brightness on this laptop seems to be lacking compared to other laptops I have used and/or owned. For example, this laptop needs to be at 40% brightness to match the 20% brightness of my other two laptops, which is a substantial difference. These other laptops were at a similar price point to this Lenovo. Additionally, the keyboard is not backlit, which should honestly be a standard feature in laptops at this point. Again, my previous two laptops had backlit keyboards and were at a similar price point to this Lenovo. Lastly, reduced weight does not have to mean reduced durability, but this Lenovo somewhat crosses that line. For example, this laptop is prone to twisting if not opened directly in the center of the lid tab, and this twisting can damage both the screen and the hinges. Moreover, the frame of the keyboard seems to depress if you do anything but barely brush the keys while typing, which is a bit of a learning curve if you are used to deeper keys like I am.

The Full HD touchscreen is clear, responsive, and makes navigation easy. The Arctic Grey design looks elegant and modern, and the laptop is lightweight and easy to carry. Battery life is great, and it starts up in seconds. Overall, a powerful, reliable, and stylish computer that offers great performance for its price. Totally worth it!

I’ve been using the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15.6″ for a couple weeks now, and overall it’s been very reliable and well-balanced for everyday computing. Right away I appreciated how lightweight and portable it is for a 15.6″ laptop — easy to carry between rooms or toss in a backpack. Under the hood, the modern processor and RAM combination let me multitask smoothly: web browsing, documents, spreadsheets, streaming, and multiple browser tabs all run without lag. For typical office work, school, and everyday tasks, performance feels solid and snappy. The Full HD display looks sharp enough for writing, watching shows, or light creative work — colors and clarity are good for general use. I also like the keyboard: it’s comfortable, reasonably responsive, and typing feels fluid. Connectivity options and ports are more than adequate, which makes plugging in accessories or external drives easy. Battery life is decent for everyday tasks — I can get through a good chunk of work or streaming without needing to plug in.

Pretty great machine for what I paid. Very lightweight with decent battery life, full size keyboard, an adequate touchscreen, and enough RAM to keep Windows from self-destructing. I’ve already recommended this laptop to a friend, and my job’s IT department has been purchasing them, too. The USB-C port supports, which works with my AR glasses as a second display.
