This entry-level, Lenovo IdeaPad Windows Duet 3i, model number 82AT00F2US, ships with Windows 11 S-Mode, 64-bit Operating System installed. Windows 11 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 11 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. If you are getting slower than expected word processing, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your Windows 11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. First, plug in the 45W USB-C, device side (3-pin, wall side - USA compatible Plug) AC adapter/charger, supports PD 3.0, 100-240V, 50-60Hz that is included with this IdeaPad Windows Duet 3i to a wall socket, then plug in the USB-c side into the charging port on the Windows Duet 3i tablet section. Power on the computer. Move your cursor over the battery icon at the bottom right of your Windows Desktop Screen. You do not need to click on the Battery Icon. Just let the cursor hover over the Battery Icon. A pop-up message will appear that will display the current Battery Charge Level. If it is below 50 Percent, let the IdeaPad Duet 3i remain plugged to charge the battery to a full 100 Percent charge. If the battery charge level is above 50 Percent, but the device will still not stay on when powered up, resetting your IdeaPad Windows Duet 3i back to original factory settings may correct the issue you are having. To use Windows recovery options.
1. Go to https://pcsupport.lenovo.com. 2. Detect your computer or manually select your
computer model. 3. Click Diagnostics ➙ Operating System - Diagnostics and then follow the on-screen instructions.
