    Great value for the price!

The Lenovo A2109 is quick and the screen is very responsive. It would be nice if it had a SanDisk slot, but the fact that it's Bluetooth capable makes up for that. The max speaker level is a little less than I'd like, but the quality of sound is fine. For the price, I think this is the best tablet out there.

Great tablet, but the screen is mediocre

Originally, I bought an Asus Transformer Infinity TF700T with the keyboard dock. I was trying the experiment of using a tablet instead of a laptop. Using a tablet instead of a laptop didn't work well for a variety of reasons. In the end, we decided to buy a cheap laptop and the Lenovo IdeaTab. The Lenovo IdeaTab is more responsive than the Transformer Infinity, even though it is running Ice Cream Sandwich instead of Jelly Bean. The screen isn't as nice though. The IdeaTab's screen is like a laptop's screen: if it is rotated at a funky angle, then the colors look funny. I didn't even notice this issue until I read reviews about the product, and it still doesn't really bother me much. The screen might bother me more if I used it outside more (the glare on the screen is pretty intense). The 1280 x 800 resolution has better compatibility and speed with apps than the Transformer Infinity's 1920 x 1080. Usually I prefer a higher resolution, but the lower resolution has been much better for android apps right now. If you want to do real work, use a laptop. For web browsing, watching videos, and playing casual games, the Lenovo IdeaTab is great and cheap.

Just the right size. Not too big for reading.

I wanted a unit that was good for book reading, document review and net surfing. I felt like the 7 inch tablet was too small and the 10+ inch units were too big This unit is just right. It is lighter and easier to carry but is big enough to use for all the things I need it for. It works better than the smaller units for typing as well. Keys on small units caused a lot of fat fingering for me. The screen quality is fine despite some of the negative reviews I have seen. I was able to get a screen protector and a nice stand cover for the unit that completed the package for me.

    Good Value, iPad alternative.

Does what I need it to do, quickly, efficiently. Outputs helpful, sd card great for adding memory. Andoid software still a little buggy. Frozen up on me twice so far but nothing beyond that. Recommend for someone needing an iPad alternative. Note: cases and covers are hard to find but new kindle fire cases are perfect fit.

    Almost the perfect size tablet

After testing and returning three different tablets, I finally decided the Lenovo A2109 was "the one". I originally received a Prestige 7" as a Christmas present and was very disappointed. I exchanged it for an Acer 10" (which was on sale for $130 off original price) and again was underwhelmed, mainly from the Acer constantly freezing and being generally unreliable. My next tab of choice was a 7" Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, which is a great tablet and one that I kept for about 3 weeks until finding this one for $80 off. Have I finally found the perfect tablet? No, but for the price I paid and the size I am satisfied with my decision. Some things I would change to make this the perfect tablet would be: - 8" screen would be optimal - HD display (i.e. Kindle HD) - extended battery life (not terrible, but could definitely be improved) - better availability of cases (cases for Kindle Fire 8.9 WILL work, but are not a perfect fit) Hopefully this review will help any potential buyers :-)

Great gift for mom, she loves it

I bought the ideapad as a bday gift for my mom. It's really easy to use and has a lot of apps available; she wanted a simple, easy to use, portable and nice tablet, and she got it, she likes it a lot! the only thing we didnt like is the lack of accesories for this particular tablet. Also the first day she tried to use it, the tablet froze and vibrated for quite a while, eventually it went out of battery and shut down. I was about to take it back to a bestbuy when i decided to fully charge the battery and try again, it worked without an issue and has been like that so far (hope stays like that)

    Great tablet for the money

Great tablet for the person who does not want to spend a lot of money. Very quick on loading apps and surfing the internet. The screen quality is excellent, however i do recommend a screen protector to help with the glare on the screen. Only issue i had with the tablet is that i could never get the Lenovo App store to open and fully load. I also had to download another video player from the Google App store so that it would play other format movies. Out of the box it seems to play mp4 movies just fine, but will not play the .avi movies. The audio could be a bit louder, in loud environments with headphones it was just not loud enough for me. Other than that, no issues. Just wish they would come out with a case for it with a stand.

I came in the store that day looking for a different tablet, they were out of stock. I kept looking and found the Lenovo IdeaTab A2109, it was on sale. It was actually a better value than the tablet I intended to purchase.

The first one that I received from Best But only lasts for less than a week. The second one (a brand new replacement) has been mt constant companion. Screen size is good, it actually fit to an Ipad case, just the width is a little bit smaller. I can choose different keyboard layout, currently I am using the go keyboard. Sound is very good for a small tablet like this.

Nice build quality in the price range

I tried several tablets in this price range and this one seemed to be refined and the screen was fairly responsive compared to several of the tablets on display at Best Buy so I chose this one. The 6,000 mAH battery seems to go a good while when watching Netflix or youtube and the WiFi connection seems to be pretty good because I'm using it in an area at work that several of my slightly older laptops don't really connect well. The screen is pretty nice and detailed for it being so large. It's designed for 720HD (1280x720 video aspect) which is where most tablets and smart phones are at. The only thing that didn't seem all that impressive was the cameras but I'm comparing them to my HTC DNA that was designed with great cameras and the tablet isn't exactly designed to be carried around to shoot videos and photos anyway. I'm happy with it.

Great product, but I have some issues

    1. When reading a book, the IdeaPad does not flip from horizontal to vertical when I turn the pad 2. The IdeaPad is set up to switch based -- mine always stays on white background with black letters. 3. I find it difficult to know what all the icons do -- not too user-friendly 4. Couldn't find a case for my IdeaPad. I had to buy a generic bag that is designed for a bigger pad than I have.

Only 9-10inch tablet that comes with Adobe Flash

The Lenovo A2109 is an awesome tablet. I sampled all the other 9-10inch tablets and found the Lenovo A2109 is the only tablet in its class that has Adobe Flash already apart of the Tablet. All the others Adobe Flash is not compatible unless you purchase a tablet in the $400 range. Everything about this tablet is awesome. It has a slick feel to it, a protective built in casing, front and rear cameras, and access to all the google apps and its fast (tegra 3 OS).

Went to BB to get a Ipad mini for my Wife, they were on back order, the Lady at the store said she would be glad to put me on the waiting list if I wanted. I asked her about other Notebooks (as I am not really tech savvy) and she demonstrated several, did not appear to be an appreciable difference EXCEPT for price, went with the Lenovo, glad I did, does everything and more than she and I need. One other note the folks at BB are always very helpful.

This Tablet is Great in Harware Specification, Notebly the Processor and Graphics, it can handle Gaming Good and Streaming Well. It is a good all around everyday tablet that is priced Well. I just that they improve the casing so it will not be so slippery to the handle. This is the only Tablet that can be comparable to Apple and Samsung in terms of Function and Aesthetics.

I have two of them. One for the wife (no complaints, must be an awesome product) and one for my daughter, she loves it. The SD card sits inside a cover which is a pain to get to. That's my only beef.

First Lenovo bit the dust when my husband dropped something on it while it was on the counter and severely cracked the screen. Processor was still working but you couldn't see or touch use most of the screen. I liked the first one so much I just went out and bought another the same. I don't leave it on the counter anymore!

I replaced my 7 inch NOOK Tablet with this full 9 inch Android Lenovo Tablet. I love it. I get all my B&N books on it for great reading. Also Google Books and Kindle Books, I will never run out of books. I ton of android apps to choose from, front and rear facing cameras, wifi, can't say enough good things about. Why did I switch from NOOK - I wanted a larger screen and as of 2 weeks prior to purchasing the Lenovo, B&N had said Google Play would NOT be available on their new HD Tablets. More features on the Lenovo and was $20 cheaper. I think I made the right decision.

I bought this tablet after looking at reviews and looking at other tablets. This was the best tablet I saw for under $300. I never thought I'd use it that much but that changed as soon as I started using it
