Reveiw
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do with my Motorola edge+ is plugged in, and works flawless with the type-c 3.0 cable provided. Also, my computer works well on it too. Lowlights No built-in speakers. Only type-c compatible. I have a Type-C to HDMI adapter, and it doesn’t seem to work for my ps4, neither does my type-c to hdmi cable as well. Might be a user error though.

Great portable monitor
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works great with two computers but won't turn on with one of the computers because type-c doesn't provide the power. HDMI male to USB-C female cable adapter with micro USB power cable made this monitor work! It is lightweight and easy to carry around.

Nice second/third monitor for productivity
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is great to supplement a laptop or even as third monitor. If you just need additional real estate for spreadsheets, emails, file explorer, etc., then this monitor fits the bill. I couldn’t decide between this one and the Asus. I went with this one because it was on sale and have no regrets. I like Lenovo’s set up more. There’s no need for clumsy cover that converts to a stand. The Lenovo has a nice built in stand and it has an extra USB C too. It is very light and fits nicely in my backpack. Resolution or viewing angles are nice enough for my everyday office type software. 4K is overkill for spreadsheets.

Almost Perfect.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Lenovo L15 monitor is almost the complete package with 2 notable flaws. In short, the monitor works great, out of the box, simply plug and play using just the USB C cable(no additional cable needed). The 1st flaw being the low blue light setting has a brightness level that seems default to the max brightness that is non-adjustable, which seems counterintuitive, as brightness should still be able to be controlled regardless of the mode. Perhaps, this can be fixed with a software/driver update. The 2nd flaw, which is more of a nitpick, is that the monitor is missing speakers. To be fair, speaks in monitors of this category tend to be lacking, so it's not a deal breaker by any means but would've been good to have. Other than these 2 imperfections, I'm quite happy with the monitor, especially with 2 fully functional USB C ports that support PD charging/serving as an additional USB C port, which are rare to find in similar monitors. The monitor is sleek, light & compact, which really helps with the portability. The addition of a sleeve to protect/carry the monitor is a nice touch, as most monitors do not have an added sleeve/case.

Great addition
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven’t used it a lot but so far it seems fine. Beautiful screen, really minimal set up. My Apple iMac needed some reconfiguring of the display but plugged it in with the cable ( needs a USB-C supplied) and we’re up and running. Light. Nice protective sleeve included but wish it had some sort of closure. In short-nice product and would recommend-only 4 stars as have not used it very much to judge durability

Portable display for battery powered mobile work
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good quality, bright display with fairly accurate colors. Power consumption is reasonable, from what I can tell it pulls somewhere between 10-15W in actual use. The USB-C power passthrough is a great feature. I use this for a mobile office setup in my van, so the VESA mount screw holes in the back are also very useful for the custom mount I place it on. Very slim and portable. My only complaint is that the brightness and blue-light filter controls are not well thought out. But overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

Great for Traveling or Business
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this for a business trip where I knew I was going to be doing some work in the hotel room. I was initially concerned about the brightness but I found that it was plenty bright enough and didn't differ too much from my laptop monitor. I did use a Lenovo work laptop so I'm not sure if that matters on compatiblity but it just plugged and played for me. The protective sleeve it comes with is just ok. It'll likely protect from scratches but I feel like I'm carrying around a thin piece of glass. I would have liked a zip up hard-shell case to add a layer of protection. It does allow passthrough power to the PC if you wanted to do that. I considered taking it back and trying other monitors but after using it, I'm going to hang on to it. It checks all the boxes of being light weigh, easy to use, bright enough, and nice picture quality for what it is.

Easy to Use, compatible with MacBook Air
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not a computer expert. I really need 2 monitors to get any work done (at home I dock laptop and use 2 large monitors) so this is a great way to extend my screen on the go. It comes with a sleeve for travel. Best of all no set up required. I have a MacBook Air that just has 2 usb-c ports and it’s completely compatible. Literally plug it in and turn it on! I’m curious this monitor is superior to the cheaper ones on Amazon, but given that the price difference wasn’t too bad, I opted to go with a known brand. I am finding it to be very useful!

Extremely Happy w/ These Portable Lenovo Monitors
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these Lenovo Monitors a year ago. I use them everywhere; when I travel to hotels, my relatives homes & local libraries. They are lightweight, easy to set up & have great displays. I just recommended my business partner buy the same set up due to the great value.

Got so MUCH more than I paid for!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing, more than I even Imagined. I bought this, as much on a whim as anything. My home office set up has had multiple monitors for years, and it is a setup I have gotten much to adjusted to. Using my laptop, always felt a little wrong, or I'd find myself looking to the left for my email (which is the screen where it resides). Enter this Lenovo ThnkVision. I just swallowed hard and said, not that much, (it had either Black Friday or My Best Buy Member price) and I'm glad I did. I CANNOT tell the difference between this screen and the one on my Lenovo T470 Laptop, they are the same in resolution and how they are scaled, and have (at least subjectively to me) identical picture quality. I simply plugged it in, and voila, it worked and windows duplicated desktop and it was hard to see a difference, changed my setting to 'extend desktop' and that too, perfect, On top of which because it is almost the same height on stand as the laptop screen itself, no fine tuning so the mouse doesn't jump at the transition. I've yet to try it with my cell phone, but I expect to be every bit as happy. Perhaps an update when I have.

Good computer for basic use
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great for what I need - pretty basic user. It’s light weight for traveling and not too thick. My only dislike is that the touch pad is a bit finicky (but that’s probably more about my fingers).

So close to perfect, but with a big, bright flaw
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted so badly to love this monitor because there are so many features that make it great. It became available almost immediately after I bought the Acer Zenscreen 15" monitor (which has its own pros and cons), and I excitedly returned the Acer to get the Lenovo L15 instead. But one significant flaw with the brightness/blue light filter tanked this monitor for me. First, the pros: (1) The built-in hinged stand and flip-out height extender are amazing and a primary reason I bought the L15 monitor. The extra height and the ability to sturdily stand the screen upright at a 90 degree angle are an enormous bonus. I strongly disliked how far back the Acer Zenscreen angled back even at its most upright (and how far back most portable screens seem to sit on their stands). (2) Two USB-C ports, one on each side, make for greater flexibility in your workspace setup than the single USB-C port on one side that seems more common on monitors in this range--and seemingly also would allow the monitor to receive power from a source other than the laptop itself, in cases where there is worry about draining the laptop battery, for example. (3) The monitor comes with a close-fitting padded protective sleeve. Here too the Lenovo wins out over the Acer for me--the Acer feels fragile, and the cover/stand combo that latches onto the screen (just the screen side) doesn't feel like much protection at all, particularly for something that is intended to be portable--sleek and attractive, yes, but protective, no, and the need to search for and buy a separate protective sleeve is annoying. Now the con(s) for the Lenovo L15: The display settings are minimal, which I thought would be fine; I am pretty low-tech. The screen's brightness is adjusted via two brightness buttons on the left side of the stand, next to which is a button for low blue light when you want/need a warmer screen. The buttons adjust the brightness with paaaiiinfull slowness--really, a surprising extreme of slowness--but this I was glad to forgive because I like so many other features. (Side note: I like to be able to take screens down far dimmer than this one will go. I was surprised by how bright the screen remains at the lowest level.) The big, surprising problem for me arises when the "low blue light" button is engaged. After a moment, the screen changes to a warm light--but at what seems like the screen's *maximum* brightness level, and there is no changing this. On the warm light setting, there appears to be just one single brightness level, and it is blinding. I was sure that I was missing something, but no amount of pressing/holding buttons and pleading with the monitor and searching online helped (there seems to be virtually no detailed info on this monitor online yet). Pressing the brightness buttons while the "low blue light" feature is engaged simply does nothing. I went back and forth between the standard blue light screen and the warm light several times, hoping that adjustments made while the standard screen was on would transfer over, but nada: lowest brightness on the blue screen immediately changed to maximum brightness on the warm setting. For a lot of people, this may not matter. For me it matters a ton. I am used to a wide range of settings on all of the other screens I use (including even an ancient external Dell monitor), and I barely use any of them *except* the warm/low-blue-light/nightlight features. I primarily use those features in the evenings and early mornings in low-light settings, and for me (and I would think for many others) a warm/low-blue-light option is all but useless at full brightness. In fact, this feels like such a huge oversight that I do wonder if there is just something wrong with the monitor I received. But with so little info (beyond basic marketing material) about the L15 out there right now, and with the monitors not being in stores, I'm not likely to hope that's the case. Returning this one and ordering another for shipment with only the *hope* that I received a dud the first time doesn't really appeal to me. If I have to go through a return process again, it will probably be to buy a different monitor, maybe even the Acer Zenbook again, that I can check out in person or at least find detailed reviews for. Again, much of the design of the L15 is great and just what I was looking for, so I'm sincerely disappointed to be leaning in this direction. If the warm/low-blue-light feature is one that doesn't matter to you, this could be a great portable or second monitor for you.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues adjusting the screen image quality of your Lenovo L15 Monitor. The Lenovo L15 monitor has a maximum screen brightness level of 250 nits, that is manually, user adjustable and provides additional eye care, Low Blue Light Technology, with TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light and TUV Rheinland Flicker Free Certifications. You can adjust your screen brightness with the manual control buttons on the side of the L15 monitor, up/down, to your personal preference for screen brightness. Additionally, there is the Low Blue Light button on the side of the L15 screen. You can hold these buttons down (the brightness button) to access the On-Screen Settings Menus to increase/decrease screen brightness. Here is a link to the User Guide for the Lenovo L15 Monitor, which illustrates and explains in detail the On-Screen Settings Menus that are available on page 2-4 of the User Guide:  https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/monitor/lenovo_l15_ug_en.pdf.
