I bought the laptop because I wanted something capable of smooth operation while multitasking during schoolwork (zoom class, while having a couple chrome tabs open and maybe some music playing off Spotify) and I wanted a laptop where I could throw my favorite games at it and have no issue running them. It’s a excellent gaming machine with sturdy build quality and the cooling system seems to be amazing, the fans do get a little whinny after long sessions but your computer will stay cool.

Amazing gaming laptop for the price.

I bought it with the intent of upgrading the ram and storage immediately to save money, which I definitely recommend. It can handle basically any game you throw at it. Some games may need to have the settings scaled down a little for optimal game play, but this 5hing can definitely handle whatever and gameplay is enjoyable.

Awesome laptop

Mainly FPS and I did use it with cricut design space. The fan is a little loud but I use a headset so that didn’t bother me. I do suggest upgrading from an 8GB memory to a 16GB. The battery life is not that great and I had to keep it plugged in while gaming.Just in the short time I had it it was a great laptop. It was stolen 3 days before Christmas so I’m hoping to get another one once we can afford it.

Esthetically pleasing machine. Nice Keyboard and solid display for darker games. The Windows 11 install was a breeze. The So So: As with most Gaming machines this thing runs hot and the fan kicks in often. It is a bit of a brick. That said, that's what you should expect from a higher performance machine in this form factor. The Bad: Cleaning up the preloaded bloatware took a bit of more time than expected.

Little by little I'm making progress. The screen is great & the sound is good. It's a lot quicker to respond than I was used to. This is my 1st laptop & that the windows upgrade can be frustrating at times but I'm getting it.

Posted .This Lenovo Legion 5 15 Gaming Laptop, model number 82JW00BFUS, is a full-size, high performance gaming configuration laptop with a full-size 15.6 inch (screen size measure diagonally) screen and a standard QWERTY keyboard with 10-Key Numeric Pad included. This model weighs just 2.4 kg (5.3 lbs). This model ships with a Integrated 60Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery, which within this model configuration, has a battery life of up to 6 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. Use the Hybrid Power Management Setting within the Legion Vantage Dashboard for maximum battery life. Additionally, if you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. Average gamer, of apex, league of legends, and battlefield. It runs smooth 60+ fps on mid-highest setting. At very high the fans start to be kinda loud. Not as loud as the ps4 fan though. Adding RAM was kinda difficult and i left marks trying to open. Since i have to open the whole back side. Wish i coulda gotten more storage though. Battery life is eh, would say 4 hours on batttery but its a gaming laptop, youll be plugging in anyways.

I'm not into the latest games, but I'm sure it could handle those too. I also love the RPG backlit keyboard for an extra immersive feel when I'm gaming or working. I can also easily turn it off when I'm in a video call, so as not to distract me.

The battery off the charger doesnt last too long maybe a hour or two and the RGB keyboards customization is slightly limited l but all in all a good purchase. Very sleek laptop.
