good computer bad battery.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this computer. it's fast and handles games well. the trackpad is very sensitive and is difficult to get used to. the battery is really bad and you'll want to keep it on the chargers when playing games or else it'll die very quickly. (the normal battery life is about 3 1/2 hours) but when playing games without it charging it only lasts about an hour and a half. the screen is perfect. you can't see your reflection on it and it's very color accurate. I'd say it's a good entry-level gaming laptop but you might want to upgrade the battery.

You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. The Legion 5 15 ships with a 4CELL_60WH_INTERNAL, Lithium Polymer Battery, which within this configuration, has a battery life of up to 5 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. Check your performance settings within the Legion Vantage Dashboard. For maximum battery life, switch performance settings to use the integrated graphics processing rather than GPU. I got this only for gaming. Playing WoW, AOE:DE and recently New World. Had no issues. Since I travel every week for job, I carry my laptop everywhere. And actually I don't have a laptop case, so I carry it in my regular backpack. I can easily say that this computer has a strong design and wont break easily.

Let me say that she is 10 so she is not a “gamer” in the full sense of the word so not sure how it would perform for real games other than Roblox, Among Us and the few other games she plays. Only thing is we cannot figure out how to turn camera & microphone on.

This model ships with a 720p (HD) webcam with manual Privacy Shutter built in. Be sure the Privacy Shutter is completely open before trying to use the webcam or the webcam will not operate. There is a small slider, directly above the webcam lens. Move the tab to the right to open the Privacy Shutter. There is a red dot over the webcam lens that will disappear when the Privacy Shutter is fully open. This will indicate that the webcam is really to use. You can close the Privacy Shutter when you are done with the webcam for your security, by sliding the tab to the left to close the Privacy Shutter. The Red Dot will appear over the webcam lens when the Privacy Shutter is closed. If the issue continues, we recommend you call Legion Ultimate Support at: 888-278-9707.
