Was very thankful!

Can't even find it at the same price I got it now a days. I'll be upgrading the Memory and SSD to give it more power. Like the settings for keyboard and easy to overclock system.

He loved the set up for his daily basis. The only bad thing is that the charger is super big and we have to take it everywhere. Be ready to lift 1 extra pount

Great laptop for the price, with some caveats

The specs are the reason I didn't give it 5 stars. *Only 8GB of RAM *A 512GB hard drive is relatively small (2nd drive can be added) *Multiple USB-A ports, but only 1 USB-C port *Only has an HDMI port. 2nd display requires using the 1 USB-C port.

It’s his first gaming laptop and so far he loves it! Me being into gaming on PC for a while, I say this was good quality for its price! Recommended to those who are new to PC gaming.

You can add a second nvme drive

I have added a 2nd nvme drive (yes there are two nvme slots) and put Linux OS on it. I am successfully running windows 10 on one nvme drive and Linux on the other nvme drive that i purchased separately and installed.

I bout this laptop for work and gaming. The frame rate is great and so far no problems. It’s so much easier for work too. I can have multiple windows open and it has not froze once.

Not using for gaming but the speed makes everything else great. Flashing keyboard can be irritating, but setting it correctly with ALT spacebar cures that! Very lightweight long lasting battery excellent camera.

Posted .The Lenovo Legion 5 15 Gaming Laptop, model number 81Y6000DUS weighs 5.50 lbs. and ships with a 4CELL_60WH_INTERNAL, Lithium Polymer Battery, which within this configuration, has a battery life of up to 5 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. Has the best thermal solution of any of the "gaming" laptops in this class. No problems with flaky software. Very solid. Only complaint is how heavy it is.

Definitely able to handle processing my college level Chemistry class programming needs much better than my last PC. Geek Squad (Zach) was very helpful with set up and turn around time. It is larger and heavier than my last PC, so getting used to that, but so far so good!

It has good fan circulation and rarely feels hot to the touch. I would like better fan control in general, but its very quiet for a gaming laptop and does give the option to put it into higher gear for gaming.

The RGB on the keyboard looks very nice. The webcam has nice resolution quality. Good amount of storage for a budget computer. The downside is that laptop gets hot easily because of game playing for about 3 hours.

When the power light is blue you will get the best thermals and will help keep your laptop cool during extended gaming sessions. =)

The area around mousepad is a finger print magnet. Makes it look really smudgy with finger prints.
