Bought for my daughter for gaming and she loves it! Good speed and great graphics. Good computer for mid level gaming for the price

Great graphics and speed. Awesome price. I bought this for my kids. Both of them love it. They use it for gaming and school. I use primarily Mac computers and they prefer this to their Macs.

Got this as New Year present for my kid. He is passionate gamer and was very satisfied when started using it. Design and color is beautiful. Spent few days myself running Fortnite, Metro 2033. Valhalla, all on full settings, excellent performance. Of course we got external gamer keyboard and mouse with it. At one point we added up additional 1Tb HDD to increase storage and my son persuaded me to change RAM with 2x16Gb sticks. To be honest while playing games I do not notice any improvement compared to original 8Gb configuration. Only downside of this laptop is shorter battery life, but it is expected with such strong CPU and good cooling system.

I love this gaming computer. I have been playing with it almost everyday. The speed is fast and the graphic is great. I must say the laptop is a bit heavy to carry around.

FYI I don’t really know anything about computers, but I went from an hp to this and I don’t regret it so far. I’ve had it for a good couple months and it hasn’t developed any problems! It’s easy to use and understand. I play sims a lot and have mods and all that extra stuff and besides it getting loud if not well ventilated, it supports it well. The battery life is ok, it’s super short when playing sims but I’m pretty sure that’s normal and I always carry the charger around for classes cause it doesn’t last very long. I also do school work and it’s great for that also!

I purchased this with the idea that I would be using it for work as well as gaming here and there. I like to play World of Warcraft as well as some Steam games I have. I have to say this computer has fit my needs perfectly. Runs WoW excellently while also taking my work apps with no sweat. The fans do go on while gaming, but thermals are great. Love the thermal design of this laptop. I was scared of getting a laptop that would have terrible thermals, but this doesn't have that issue. Does have some bloatware, but it was easy to get rid of in 2 minutes. I did add another 8GBs of RAM and added a 512GB SATA SSD. This laptop is perfect for me now.

Upon purchase I upgraded the stock SSD to 1TB and installed a second SSD as a backup drive. I then upgraded the memory to 16G and upgraded the operating system to Pro. Computer is now working in a remote corporate environment that needed slightly better graphics capabilities (discrete graphics) for some Adobe creation tools and internal storage for encrypted backup that is cloud managed so the end user does not require any skills of knowledge and corporate integrity is retained without productivity loss.

Upgraded the RAM to 32GB and added a second M.2 for my games. I love that most of the are on the back. I have two external 27" monitors running on this with no issues. RDR2, HZD and Fallout 76 run great at 1080p. 6GB of VRAM helps a lot. It's a Lenovo so the typing experience on this keyboard is fantastic. But while I'm home and connected to my hub and monitors, I use my external keyboard. No word on battery life as I'm always connected. It's been a champ for me so far. I don't have anything to really complain about.

The Legion i5 is a BEAST of a laptop. I love this laptop because it does absolutely everything a desktop computer can but in a compact portable laptop form factor. The Intel i7 along with the GTX1660ti Nvidia graphics card provides plenty of power for productivity applications and gaming at 1080p. The 512 GB M.2 solid state drive is very fast and spacious. LED lights on the keyboard are gorgeous and the typing experience along with the trackpad are excellent and comfortable. I did purchase another 8 Gb of RAM and installed an additional SSD after my purchase. Highly Recommended!

so i bought this laptop a year and a half ago and it still runs just as great as the day i took it out of the box. the build construction feels great, its fast, and can support pretty much any game i play on it and ive had no issues running games like gta 5 and fortnite. my only complaint is that the webcam camera quality is horrible but honestly most laptops are like that anyway so its not a big deal. Other than that, its a great laptop and im very happy with my purchase.

This has been an excellent gaming laptop that allows me to do other projects other than gaming. It has held up well since I purchased it and I don’t feel like it has become outdated

I got this laptop in sale for $899, this has the the best thermals and the display is amazing. I added one more Nvme Ssd and I upgraded the Ram to 32gb. I use it for gaming, photo and video editing. Then built quality is nice and I get around 6 hrs of battery if I use it for browsing and light weight task. Gor gaming I get only 1 ish hours. I recommend this product to my friends.

Nice laptop. From price point of view no other gaming laptop matches it. The chasis is also much better. It does not run hot.

This a great laptop for those new to PC gaming! I am currently working from home as well and has been a total joy working on this laptop as well for a Call center setup from home. It can handle multiple windows being opened at once without lag and has different fan settings for gaming to make it run smooth! I love the keyboard feel and the keys aren't super loud when typing. Reading online, if you need to add on additional ram, it's easy to do.

Bought this for my daughter to keep her off mine! Setup is as simple as hitting the power button. Onto performance, This little machine is amazing as she only needed a laptop that could handle her schoolwork, but she loves gaming. For it's price point it's an amazing deal. Add another 8gb of ram and a second M.2 NVME and your set! Not gonna go over all the features this laptop has to offer, but will say they are truly great! I am a Asus fanboy, but Lenovo puts out a great product and you really can't go wrong with it.

Needs more storage, but that's the same for any computer or laptop, so I'm not taking a star off for that. Works great and as long as you have one of the fan things for it to sit on, it can play a lot of games with minimal issues (again, will be better once I get an SSD I'm sure). Mind you I don't play competitively or anything, but I do play some games that use a lot of memory and can make this thing sound like jet engine and it still holds up. The employee that helped us pick this out did a great job.

An insanely good computer. It has not slowed down and it's incredible. Amazing graphics, tremendous speed, and a comfortable keyboard.

In preparation for college, I was in a rush to get a good, cheap laptop. I stumbled upon the Legion 5 and fell in love with its outstanding performance for a reasonable price. It's very responsive, the display is great, and can run games like GTA on a high setting. The only downsides I found to using this laptop is the battery life. It was initially an issue, but you can easily replace the battery with a larger one.
