Nice laptop but very heavy. The colors that lit up the keyboard was cute but just so heavy and the charger cord was heavy.

Bought this laptop as open box in ‘excellent condition.’ They lied. It was missing everything, including the charger. When I asked for a discount at least equal to the price of the original charger, they declined. Wasted time and awful experience. Don’t believe Best Buy. It’s a scam. I don’t know why it’s so difficult, instead of saying ‘excellent condition,’ to write the truth???

Amazing build quality, everything about it is perfect except for the vram. 4gb was not going to be enough to make it viable for the next couple years. So it went back to the store. If it had a thunderbolt port, I would have not returned it, because then I at least could have hooked up an external gpu. Real shame, it really is a nice laptop, but the 3050 gpu and not thunderbolt port really sets it back.

Hello, JorgeZ, we are sorry to hear that you have encountered an issue with your Legion 5 Pro. In advance, this is a lengthy response, as we want to address your pronouncement completely. Regarding performance, the specifications of this model Legion 5 Pro are detailed on the product's webpage. Being a higher performing system, if you feel your device is not delivering the performance you feel it is capable of, to resolve this try these steps: first, we recommend checking for updates through Windows Update settings. These updates can help resolve issues from operating system bugs to driver software improvements. To navigate there, select start on the taskbar (windows logo) or press the windows key on the keyboard then select Settings. In Settings, select Windows Update, and then select the Check For Updates button. Install any available updates and restart your PC if required. If you didn’t have any updates that required a restart, it’s still a good idea to restart your device to make sure any pending updates are installed. Additionally, check for updates in the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled on Windows devices. You can check by opening the app, navigating to the device tab, and selecting the “check for updates” option. If there are updates to install, follow the onscreen directions to finalize those updates. Regarding battery life, this model Legion 5 Pro features integrated 80Wh battery, which within this model configuration, has a battery life of up to 9.9 hours, depending on device settings and the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery Charge Threshold is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-80 percent of capacity. You can turn off Battery Charge Threshold within the Lenovo Vantage APP installed on this computer. In Vantage select Battery Settings and turn off Battery Charge Threshold, if turned on. Also, here is a link to a webpage that details various options for disabling background applications and processes that may be using battery: https://allthings.how/how-to-turn-off-background-apps-in-windows-11/ Upon making these changes, if the issue persists, we recommend reaching out to our Legion Ultimate Support team at this phone number for continued assistance: 888-278-9707. Be careful with Open-Box products. This particular product had a 1080p screen and a 12th gen Intel CPU. The associates checked the SKU and thought it was the same, but it wasn't.

Aloha, I brought the laptop home, plugged it in to the ethernet cable and it was super slow. I figured it just had to go through all the updates and it would be fine. Well, it never speeded up. Then when i plugged in my phone to the laptop to download a recording, it wpuld not recognize the phone. I did a buncj of troubleshooting then called the Geek Squad. They said bring the lap top back to best buy. So i did. I will not buy another Lenovo..
