I purchased this item based on a recommendation from a Best Buy representative, and I regret not taking the time to research it myself beforehand. For the past year, I've had to take it to the Geek Squad every few months because every time it updates, I lose functionality with the speakers and the fingerprint sensor, along with other features that initially made this device attractive. Unfortunately, the tech team has been unable to provide any concrete solutions, other than suggesting that I invest in a Best Buy membership for unlimited visits without additional fees. To make matters worse, I've never had a laptop that had to be plugged in constantly. I've noticed that disconnecting it from the charger leads to even more issues. Overall, this has been a frustrating experience. I'm really disappointed that the sales representative didn't inform me about these significant drawbacks and that I didn't discover how problematic this product was until it was too late to return it.

This can be done in the Lenovo Vantage app > top right box > GPU working mode, then choosing your preferred method. Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. great laptop for 4k editing

Good laptop

I’m not a fan of the fingerprint reader either; it doesn’t perform well and I struggle with it. Other than that, it works fine and I would recommend it.
