To start, with loading pages, after ensuring your home Wi-Fi network is not responsible, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.
Next, with battery life, if you want to squeeze out more battery life and are completing non-intensive graphics tasks, you can utilize the MUX switch built into this model to turn off the dedicated GPU to greatly decrease power draw. This can be done in the Lenovo Vantage app > top right box > GPU working mode, then choosing your preferred method. Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. You could also press the Fn + R key combo to toggle to a lower refresh rate for even more power conservation.

In addition, he has a number of hobbies which require decent speed and graphics. The Lenovo Legion 7i 16" Gaming Laptop had everything required at a price a college student could manage. The tech support offered by Best Buy is second to none and provides peace of mind, knowing they are there if he needs anything.

The reliability and portability of this machine are unmatched. I initially had an Asus G16 but swapped it for this and couldn't be happier. The Lenovo warranty also gives me confidence that I'll have this laptop for a very long time. I strongly recommend this laptop if you're looking for something with performance and portability.

Great color with the glacier white. Wonderful sound for a laptop speaker. Plays any and all games I could ever hope for. Needs a fan, but most do unless you are willing to pay 4-5k. Great price for this laptop. Battery life is kinda low, but I have it plugged in so bothers me 0%.

To remedy this, ensure that the air intake (along the bottom) is clear of any obstructions. If it's on a gaming mat or a surface that retains heat, this can work against the system's multi-level cooling systems. Also, there is a keyboard shortcut that can be used by pressing the Fn and Q keys simultaneously. This allows users to toggle between three thermal modes, one of which being quiet mode. In this mode, when doing non-intensive work like web browsing and most Office apps, the system doesn't need speed to be the priority, giving you the best of both worlds with a quieter, cooler PC, and saving battery life. Activating the system's MUX switch can also drop power draw significantly by switching off the dedicated GPU when not necessary. We are pleased to hear that your Legion 7i is performing well for you, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

The Geek Squad tried to get me to pay to fix a defective laptop that was covered under warranty, only to refurnish it in even worse condition. Once I got it back, they agreed to fix it for free since they banged it up during transit. So about 2 months later, and the “Geek Squad” fix, the charging light isn’t working, and the back part of the laptop is where that light is. It is starting to peel, I guess the geeks didn’t use enough adhesive. Don’t trust any YouTube videos or reviews about this laptop because those are cherry-picked by their quality control. Most likely you’ll receive something with a bent screen and Best Buy will try to charge you $ 300 to fix it under warranty.

Avoidance is Highly Recommended - Way Too Slow!!!

It unfortunately came with Windows 11 and is super slow and actions are often delayed. I have fiber internet and my other laptops, some are 12 years old, and they work much faster. The internet is slow, clicks are delayed at times, and uploads and downloads take a long time. Also, it has randomly shut down out of nowhere twice. The ONLY Software I have ever downloaded was Bitdefender. It has been scanned for malware, viruses and such and nothing has been found. I was hoping to get another of the same laptop as I love the white color, but I am very hesitant to get another Lenovo at this point. They were my favorite brand of Laptop as I have never had issues in the past, but this slowness is completely unacceptable. The battery life is good for what the computer specs are or at least should be. Roughly I get about 4 hours even after a couple years on a full charge. The display is nice, not super vibrant by very nice compared to my other laptops. There are plenty of USB ports and the fan cools nicely. The lighted keyboard options are a nice feature and work well. The build seems stronger than a lot of other laptops and while slightly thicker and heavier, I actually appreciate that as I feel it is built better. There is a lot to love about this laptop, however, this is absolutely unacceptably slow. If that could be fixed, I would give this laptop 5 stars without a doubt. I think the issue with Windows 11, but it could be an internal component I suppose. I have no clue, but it has kept me from not only buying a second one of these, but looking at another brand of computers as well.
