I’ve been animating, 3d modeling and gaming on it. :)

Powerhouse that runs hot

The only problem I had with is was that it runs really hot and the battery life is advertised for up to 5 hours but realistically I only got 2.5 and that was with extremely light use.

To try to remedy the heat issue and battery life issues, first, please ensure that the air intake (along the bottom) is clear of any obstructions. If it's on a gaming mat or a surface that retains heat, this will work against the system's multi-level cooling systems. Also, with the Intel i9 processor, speed is the system's goal, creating heat and draining battery as byproducts. The user can change this however, as there is a keyboard shortcut that can be used by pressing the Fn and Q keys simultaneously. This allows users to toggle between three thermal modes, one of which being quiet mode. In this mode, when doing work like browsing and PowerPoint, the system doesn't need speed to be the priority, giving you the best of both worlds with a quieter, cooler PC, and saving battery life. Also, by activating the system's MUX switch, users can reduce power draw significantly by switching off the dedicated GPU when not needed based on the workload. I highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a classy upgrade or if it’s a casual gamer/professional. It does get warm but that is to be expected. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the shell. The white cream coating is beautiful, you will be hard pressed to find a better looking laptop in 2024 (IMO).

Great computer

Laggy key input on external monitor + loud fans

I found that even keyboard entry lagged and gaming performance was poor compared to my 4060 desktop. Also, under the slightest stress the fans turn into a leafblower. I cannot recommend this laptop.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well so I love Lenovo but this laptop was hight temps and it does not achieve its 5.8 gz at all actually was caped at 3.4 gz on load of they honestly had the 3200X2000 display I might have kept this laptop sad day for lenovo but it is a beautiful looking laptop
