All of my games play and i can do all of my work with no problems. Differently recommending this to anyone who wants to game and do school work on it 10 out of 10.

I am running Ubuntu on it and messed with about every power setting I could think of and I am still always having to worry about my computer dying. It's not really ideal for a college laptop just because of that.

Runs everything perfectly, the display is awesome. Couple things to notice, the battery runs out pretty quick and on high loads, the fans go loud (fine by me). I’m really enjoying this laptop

Regarding your issue with battery – as you may know there are lots of variables that contribute to battery and in laptops like this Legion Pro 5, that can increase even more due to their high-powered processors and graphics cards and high refresh rate displays. If you want to squeeze out more battery life and are completing non-intensive graphics tasks, you can utilize the MUX switch built into this model to turn off the dedicated GPU to greatly decrease power draw. This can be done in the NVIDIA Control Panel, enabling you to choose the GPU working mode. You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. You could also press the Fn + R key combo to toggle to a lower refresh rate for even greater power conservation.

Amazing Work Laptop

The screen is incredibly high resolution and it is so fast. On quiet mode you barely hear the fans, if at all. I use this PC mostly for school work and CAD. It has been great

Not only can she play all of b her games including fortnite. She can do her home school work. This brand is awesome and we are really happy with it.

Great Gaming Laptop!

It's much quieter than the previous gaming laptop I had. It's powerful and can withstand most of what you throw at it. The RAM is upgradeable (I believe), and so is the SSD. So this will be a great gaming laptop for anyone and will last for a while with good care.

Problem 1, though doesnt bother me, is it leaves fingerprints. 2. fan noise. Got a cooling pad and it minimized the noise quite a bit. Overall, im glad i bought it.
