      Regarding your issue with battery – as you may know there are lots of variables that contribute to battery and in laptops like this Legion Pro 5, that can increase even more due to their high-powered processors and graphics cards and high refresh rate displays. If you want to squeeze out more battery life and are completing non-intensive graphics tasks, you can utilize the MUX switch built into this model to turn off the dedicated GPU to greatly decrease power draw. This can be done in the NVIDIA Control Panel, enabling you to choose the GPU working mode. You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. You could also press the Fn + R key combo to toggle to a lower refresh rate for even greater power conservation.

    This laptop is great! It's much quieter than the previous gaming laptop I had. It's powerful and can withstand most of what you throw at it. The RAM is upgradeable (I believe), and so is the SSD. So this will be a great gaming laptop for anyone and will last for a while with good care.

    The laptop itself is good, but not really recommended for Linux users who are not familiar with the system. I spent quite some time configuring bluetooth settings and HDMI connection for this laptop.
