Regarding your issue with battery – as you may know there are lots of variables that contribute to battery and in gaming laptops that can increase even more due to their high-powered processors and graphics cards. If you want to squeeze out more battery life and are completing non-intensive graphics tasks, you can utilize the MUX switch built into this model to turn off the GPU to greatly decrease power draw. This can be done in the Lenovo Vantage app > top right box > GPU working mode, then choosing your preferred method. Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. You could also press the Fn + R key combo to toggle to a lower refresh rate for even more power conservation.

Aside from being slow, the component in Lenovo Legion Vantage app, Spectrum, allowed users to choose the color of keyboard backlighting. This module literally disappeared from the Vantage interface yesterday & is nowhere to be found. The area of the interface where it used to be is blank. Showed up for half a second after reinstalling, then disappeared again. When it was there, the colors were completely off, but they were better than this default blue. Uninstall, reinstall, updated everything, did everything suggested. Lenovo support suggests using iQue software, not useful. Phone, written & chat support have no answer. Other support is just YouTube videos that say FN + spacebar gives 4 backlighting options - blue, wave, breathe and off - I'm aware of this, but I want the interface and my profiles back and for them not to disappear again, Watching this module disappear was like seeing a bumper randomly fall off of a brand new car. And I see now that it's been going on for years. This is not acceptable to me. Another problem is that it's got something running in the background that makes it impossible for me to safely unplug my external drive. No other computer has ever done this, and I don't have any faith in Lenovo support after this experience to bother with it.

Regarding the issue you mentioned, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.
