The Legion Slim 5 14.5" is a revelation in the gaming laptop market, combining a sleek design with OLED brilliance and muscular performance. My personal experience with this laptop has been nothing short of stellar, with the display offering an immersive visual feast that truly pops during gameplay and media consumption. The hardware tackles the latest games with finesse, and even under strain, it remains surprisingly cool and hushed. The slim form factor and solid battery life also make it a joy for on-the-go gaming. Though upgrades may be limited, the out-of-box experience has left little to be desired. It's a premium package that impressively balances portability and power.

Coming from three straight XPS 15's, I am so impressed with with Lenovo Legion Slim 5 14". The performance and build quality for the price is a much better value than the XPS line. Incredible screen for the money, and it runs so well on the quiet mode, able to play Elden Ring and similar on max graphics at 60fps with barely any fan noise. Keyboard and track pad are also stellar. One wishlist item for a future iteration is an auto-dimmimg keyboard. It's either on or off for me, which is a bit annoying. Battery life is also only okay for me, it seems like it takes it too long to switch from Nvidia graphics to integrated when on battery.

Great performance and features. This thing really handles AAA titles well. Only issue though is the fan noise when it switches to the dedicated gpu. Fans loud AF boi!!! But a small price to pay tor mobility. Recommended

Great laptop and at a great deal! Lenovo is probably the greatest brand when it comes to PC gaming and this laptop does not disappoint. Even for a 4060, triple A games run awesome and at a high resolution. The OLED screen is a plus so you cant go wrong with this one. Highly recommend!!

Stunning OLED display, RTX 4060, blazing disk transfer speed (7,128 MB/s read on Crystaldiskmark), RAM, etc. System is "light" and portable for a gaming laptop (I travel with it regularly) and delivering this power in a 14" format is a big win. I can't call it "slim", but a flawless experience and very quiet for the power of the system. My only wish would be to have a 4070 option, but I selected this system with a 4060 because it's worth a few FPS to have such a vibrant display that makes games, movies, etc. really pop. Would recommend and buy again.

Great gaming laptop! Fan can be loud but there’s different settings which is nice.

I love this laptop is lighter than other game laptop. It is good to use both for work or for fun. You may lose some capability like upgrade the ram or hard disk yourself. But the configuration should be good for awhile.

This laptop has exceeded my expectations. Performs well, screen is amazing, laptop feels sturdy and rigid. Prior to this, I got an Asus 15.6" oled, which I returned due to it feeling rather fragile and performance being subpar and screen was dim. Upgraded from macbook, screen is better, performance is way better, and laptop feels just as sturdy. This laptop also looks really good. Everything is nice and centered, symetrical, and balanced. I initially thought I was not going to like the rear facing ports. It turns out I like this a lot, and it's better than having all the ports on the side.

Excellent device! Using it for my university and gaming use and I love it! People might be afraid to buy this due to the OLED screen being too reflective but trust me, once you see the display. Your mind will blown! It's perfect!

This thing is a beast ! Super powerful when gaming stays relatively cool and the screen ! The screen was the key selling point to me over asus 14 or an Alienware. The color and picture is ultra clear and vibrant! Just an amazing gaming laptop.

The laptop is incredible. It plays every game I'm interested in at smooth frame rate. My favorite part would have to be the oled panel, it is just stunning

This laptop ticks all the boxes. The build quality is pretty good, having a metal exterior and plastic interior. I would say it’s better than the rather plasticy feel of thr ASUS G14. The keyboard js nice as well. The trackpad tracks fairly well, although it does have a rattling round when tapping on parts of it. As for performance, this will run any AAA title with moderate settings. The 4060 in the laptop also benefits from things like DLSS, which helps in running modern titles. The screen is fantastic as well. The OLED has great contrast and color reproduction, although if you’re sensitive to pwm flickering it could be an issue. The only thing I’m concerned about long term is burn in. Its also a very reflective display so it might not be best if using in super bright environments. But other than that the laptop is a great powerhouse in a 14 inch form factor.

My son loves this gaming laptop. The graphics are crystal clear, we love the OLED. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is far and away the best gaming laptop that I've ever owned (and I buy a new machine, and sell the older, every year). My last 2 laptops were a 2021 Razor Blade 14 (GTX 3070), and a 2022 ROG G14 (ATI 7600s), and this Legion blows them away. It's not just the incremental processing power. The screen size is perfect, the extra .5" makes a huge difference in screen real estate. OLED Screen is Beautiful, worth the price point alone. The keyboard is tactful and ultra responsive. Mouse track size could be a tad bigger but not an issue. Don't hesitate, it's a near perfect laptop, so much so I won't be replacing in this year.

Hoenstly, I was hopeful for this PC. Sadly, the battery life is awful. I mean awful. It last for nearly 3/4 hours with moderate work (all browser based, most intensive task is telehealth). I havent even tried gaming on the battery because I assume it will last less then two hours. Otherwise, its great, love Lenovo, the OLED is a massive upgrade for them, and their keyboards are always great. It really is the battery for me, I have tried all the power saving options and it didnt really matter at all. Ill be switching back to a Mac sadly as they really are the beat bang for your buck, if gaming isnt involved.
