Upgrade my laptop from a Dell G5 loving it so far.

The price was great, good build quality, wish the processer was better.

Nice machine relative to its cost. Nice display, and good feeling keyboard.

If gaming, especially running titles like "The Witcher," is a priority, and you are concerned about the weight, this laptop may not meet your expectations. It may perform well for average tasks, but serious gamers might want to consider other options with better alignment to their gaming needs and preferences.

Good laptop but had to upgrade to a 4070 to get better gaming performance

This laptop freezes sometimes while streaming games or changing the resolution in game. I then have to forcefully shutdown pressing the power button.

I do not ever plan to shop at best buy after this awful experience. At purchase I verified that there was a charger included and that the laptop powered on and was working. Had to take it to geek squad service center 2xs because it wouldn't charge while running. On the second time, GeekSquad figured out that it was sold with the wrong charger. It was over the return time-frame because it was at the service center the whole time and BestBuy Support refuses to issue any remediation. They refuse to issue a partial refund for the cost of a charger($170) or provide one. They cite the open box "good" policy, but the open box "good" policy that states that it may be missing items/accessories, not that the wrong accessories will be sold as if they were the correct ones.

I returned the item due to the screen qualit…..the reds looked orange …I was not pleased with it

I normally don’t write reviews… But it seems like not a lot of people are talking about this. There is about a 50-50 chance if the laptop has either fallen asleep, or has been shut down and left shut down for about 10 minutes or longer… If you try to press the power button on the laptop after it has either been asleep or fully shut down for longer than 10 minutes… The computer will fully power on, but there will be no image on the display. I have been able to replicate this issue several times, and therefore I returned the laptop. Please note that I even was able to replicate this issue at the store with the display model. The solution is to plug the laptop in hold down the power button for at least 30 seconds… Then turn the laptop back on while it’s plugged into power.

Touchpad was double clicking with single click. Looked it up and its a common problem. Geek squad wants $150 just to look at it. Also, whoever put “Slim” in the name shoukd be fired immediately. Its a 12lb brick.

Not 16 inches, it’s 14 inches. Other than that, it performs well. The 4060 is great.

Absolute scam, at any point your laptop can be remotely disabled by Lenovo. I turned on my laptop today and it will not boot In to windows. It keeps asking for bitlocker code which I have input 20+ times now. It keeps boot looping asking for bitlocker. Lenovo has obviously done something to brick my machine right after warranty expired. Lenovo is a scam company, who at any point can decide to brick your machine with an update your laptop does automatically, even with the lid closed

The deafening coil whine and the screen is not bright.

Got this laptop not even 12 hours ago, and the keyboard STOPS working with a lagging backlight, and the overall laptop periodically lags. After endlessly updating and troubleshooting everything, my last bet was to use the internet to see what else I can do— only to see thousands with this laptop experience the same thing and more. Yeah, no thanks. Thank god it showed itself before the warranty and return date was up.

HDMI doesn’t work and also has some display issues

Its not a powerful laptop, the Ryzen 5 was running a bit slow for me, and would freeze up. Had some issues that caused me to reboot the within the first hour of purchase and I got BSOD once as well. Needless to say I returned it

I’ve been modding the sims 4 for years and this computer can’t seem to really run it well with the mods, I know there is different ways to change my graphics in game and in my laptop setting to make it more playable but I couldn’t have to do that for a high-end gaming laptop, it would often not save my game but did a smooth job at running the games just not at the capacity I enjoy to play which is modded with at least 50GBS and it couldn’t really handle 20 also the the actual windows computer only comes with 5GBS which is annoying as soon as I download something it can’t hold it.

BUYER BEWARE! I am about to return my second laptop due to constant blue screen crashes. This laptop is so unstable with a myriad of issues right out of the box. I originally purchased this for my little sister as a replacement for her 8 year old laptop, and supplement for her Xbox. I will never buy Lenovo again. RUN AWAY!
