The first issue was the boot time. Occasionally, it would take quite a long time to boot up. I fixed this by changing the laptop to 'Boot Upon Opening' in Lenovo Vantage. Another issue was coil whine; it was incessant. I fixed this by switching to 'dGPU Only Mode' in Lenovo Vantage. This laptop does work well, but you'll have some hoops to jump through before it is in tip-top shape. NOTE: I also got the so-called blue screen of death once, but this has not ever repeated itself.

(Driver Issues make entire screen black out.) After 1 year the motherboard just croaked. Lenovo said I could pay to ship it back to Houston for a repair if I extended the warranty. Don't waste your time. Go get a laptop from a different company.
