Bud is good materials but there are inconsistencies in panel gaps that run the clean look. Mine wobbled on its feet like it were missing a leg which might go along with the gaps. The finger print sensor doesn’t work more often than it does. It’s a finger print magnet and always looks don’t no matter how hard you try to keep it clean. Icue has a mind of its own so the RGB (looks great if its wotking) is usually not correct and just a head ache. Panel could be brighter though it was fine indoors. Performance was actually really nice and i had very little heart issues but the other problems are too much to keep it.

The Lenovo Legion series of gaming laptops continues the tradition of sleek well designed gaming machines however the Legion Slim 7 seems to have veered away from what consumers want the most - The ability to upgrade easily. The laptop supports two NVMe SSD drives however there is only one memory slot available for upgrading. There is 8GB soldered onboard and 8GB installed in the available memory slot. This provides dual channel memory access. If you upgrade with anything bigger than the 8GB stick of memory, the ram access speed will drop down to single channel and that will impact performance big time with Ryzen CPUs. The specs were amazing and the pricing was good. Great keyboard and key stroke. Screen was a little hard to read during daylight hours even set to highest quality. Unfortunately I had planned on using it for DJing and even with the 16GB it glitched some under mixing or running and manipulating multiple tracks. Again for me it didn't work out, but I would definitely consider a 32GB Legion. The casing was strudy and attractive, but did show fingerprints easily. It charged quicking and held a charge throughout the day. Again my 3 out of 5 is because it didnt do what I needed it to, the machine itself 10 out of 10.

Wifi is a little lower then expected but I plan on upgrading that. Overall the machine works for my dailt office/ school work and allows me to play games when i have some free time. Highlt recommend for this price.

If you are getting slower than expected WiFi performance, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 11, this includes the BIOS files and drivers that control WiFi performance. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If you get an indication that all the Operating System Software is up to date, you can directly update/reinstall the WiFi Driver within the Windows 11 Operating System on this Laptop. Worth the money

Worth the price, and I was kind of iffy spending so much (I am a broke college student, or was when I bought this). It helped me get through my last semester of respiratory school with ease and everything runs great on it. I have to admit, I have not played many games on it yet, since I was in school and also now moving so my time is limited. I did play a few and they all played beautifully so far! The keyboard is kind of what sold me on this model besides the price and what I was getting out of it. I love that you can change how the keyboard lights up, or even turn it off if it bothers you at all. Overall I recommend this computer for not only casual gaming, but also for schoolwork use, or even just browsing things.

Not as good as I expected

My desktop had a fan go out so I needed a comp while I waited for the part to arrive. Didn't have a laptop so thought this would be a good one. The keyboard lighting is obnoxious. I figured out how to turn it off, then several weeks later it comes back on. Just annoying. Windows 11 won't work properly with my printer and it was preloaded on this laptop. Battery life is proving to be poor compared to other laptops I've owned. I almost returned it but thought I would get used to it. Wish I had returned it.
