Using it to play WoW, D3, LoL, TFT, Sims 4, Fall Guys and I normally have 2 different game clients running at the same time. Graphics look good even on a medium setting and while sometimes the fan runs, it's no where near as loud as its predecessor. The slim body is beautiful and very portable for when I'm away on weekends. My only complaints are the screen modes and CRAZY keyboard lights. I have to go into a preinstalled program to change them every time I open the laptop.

I love this laptop. Is very stable, responsive and have an excellence performance. I don't like much Windows 11, but I'm getting used to it. There still some software that don't work in windows 11, but it doens't have nothing to do with the laptop. The battery doesn't last as long as others laptop if you want high performance, but in power saving mode you can use the laptop for simple browsing, document creation and other and you will have over 6 hours battery.

Overall, this is a good laptop. It's a great size, excellent for gaming without looking clunky. I did take one star for the lack of ethernet port, as I feel they could have easily added one. It feels a little lazy, especially as it is targeted towards gaming. Fans are a little loud, as expected for such a slim laptop.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15 Gaming Laptop, model number 82K80083US. This configuration ships with the latest WiFi-6, 2x2 802.11ax frequency WiFi, built in. When used with a compatible 802.11ax router, 802.11ax can deliver a single stream at 3.5Gbps, and with new multiplexing technology borrowed from the world of LTE cellular, can deliver four simultaneous streams to a single endpoint for a total theoretical bandwidth of an astounding 14Gbps. Even though this Legion Slim 7 does not have a built in ethernet port, you can connect the Legion Slim 7 to a network ethernet cable by using a USB to ethernet adapter, like this one:  https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-usb-to-ethernet-adapter-white/6418345.p?skuId=6418345 Lenovo

Things I like: Very thin and light for a 15" with a GTX 3060 Full size SD card reader Can charge via USB C or Lenovo charger Works great with a USB C dock 165 Hz screen with good color and brightness RGB Keyboard can be full RGB, single color, or anything in between RAM is upgradeable Extra slot for NVME SSD aluminum top and bottom cover (maybe keyboard deck also?) Things I don't like: Realtek WiFi card has latency issues with first person shooters. Easily fixed by replacing the Wifi card with an Intel AX200 card ($40). No HDMI Port No ethernet port the matte finish attracts fingerprints Wish the screen was at least HD+ rather than just 1080P RAM can only be upgraded with a single stick - I added a 32GB SODIMM stick and now have 40GB total system RAM. Haven't noticed any performance slow down without it running in dual channel. Charger brick is a little on the bulky size Other: Others have mentioned the fans can get loud when gaming but it's nowhere near as loud as the Intel MacBook pro 16 inch I used to have. If you are gaming with headphones on you won't even notice the sound.

I bought this computer for my girlfriend to use and it worked fantastic. She only played low end games like sims, Minecraft, etc. I downloaded a few of my own games like Borderlands 2, Evolve, and a couple others I can’t think of and they ran flawlessly with very little graphic tweaking. (I don’t like motion blur or depth view) I would recommend this computer very much for the kind of casual to mid level gaming that I do.

The laptop itself is great, it weighs less than anything that is 15 inches and has a gpu. The GPU is fast enough to run games at 1080p. No issues there, my only problem is that the PSU weighs so much. I tried having a regular USB-C 100W which weighs even less but it wont run the laptop at full speed. It's unable to pull power from the PSU and the laptop battery.

Awesome laptop, pretty much bought for work and with option for some light gaming. Works very well and can run ARK survival at almost max setting without any issues(does use 100% gpu). Battery life is my only complaint but was pretty expected for a slim gaming laptop.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15 Gaming laptop, model number 82K80083US. This model ships with a Integrated 71Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery, which within this model configuration, has a battery life of up to 6 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery Charge Threshold is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. You can turn off Battery Charge Threshold within the Lenovo Vantage APP installed on this computer. In Vantage select Battery Settings and turn off Battery Charge Threshold, if turned on. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 11 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://websiteforstudents.com/how-to-find-what-is-running-in-windows-11/. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your Windows 11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. You can also speak with a Lenovo Legion Gaming Expert for tips about optimizing your Power Settings within the Vantage Dashboard to maximize your battery life when not gaming. Try the Hybrid Power Setting for more battery life. Speak with a Legion Gaming Expert at Legion Ultimate Support for more tips: 888-278-9707. Lenovo
