Top tier laptop for music production

Had no idea it came with 3 months of Xbox ultimate and It plays all games at ultra settings with no issues. Got it for music production and right out of the box, it runs all my cpu heavy vsts in tandem.

Very vivid color scheme, many choices. The only slight issue is the battery doesn't last like a normal computer. I get it, it's a gaming computer. Overall, I highly recommend to anyone who wants an advanced intermediate computer for the price.

This model ships with a Integrated 71Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery, which within this model configuration, has a battery life of up to 6 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. You can use your Power Management Settings within Legion Vantage Dashboard to manage battery or performance. Try the Hybrid Power Setting for more battery life. Additionally, if you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery Charge Threshold is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. You can turn off Battery Charge Threshold within the Lenovo Vantage APP installed on this computer. In Vantage select Battery Settings and turn off Battery Charge Threshold, if turned on. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 11 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://websiteforstudents.com/how-to-find-what-is-running-in-windows-11/. I appreciate the good processor and dedicated graphics card. It does get very hot. The battery life is just mediocre. It weighs quite a lot. It’s a gaming laptop, so most of those issues are usual though.

So if you want something with more battery capacity go with other laptop but everything else works great.

Great, Thin, Portable Laptop

My girlfriend's dog knocked it over onto a concrete floor and it has very minimal damage, and functions like new. Not too much bloatware in the factory image. Performance is great for such a thin laptop.

Snappy Thin Laptop

Performance dip on battery is expected but frames will take a pretty big hit without being plugged in.

Great Laptop for the price.

I have utilized this to game, stream, and work. Can run seemingly endless applications simultaneously. Keyboard is quite comfortable to use, and the lighting options are fun. Design of the laptop is awesome. Super compact. Haven't had any heat issues whatsoever. Fans are normal for noise, but with headphones on during gaming or streaming, you don't hear them. Didn't even need higher fan speeds to watch videos or run single high use graphics applications. The built in Radeon Graphics card is surprisingly powerful, and the switching between/utilization of both that and the 3060 is seamless. Would definitely recommend this laptop for a casual or slightly more than casual gamer that travels and wants a convenient way to have some down-time fun yet still be able to do work.

The actual laptop is very sturdy, I think all aluminum. Can handle every game I play, and has very cool built in features to make using it easier.
