Customers are positive about the Legion Slim 7's performance, battery life, build quality, screen brightness, and portability, with many praising its lightweight design and excellent display. However, customers are negative about the laptop's tendency to overheat and generate noticeable fan noise, particularly under heavy load. Some users also expressed disappointment with the sound quality of the speakers and limited storage options. Overall, the positive aspects of performance and portability seem to outweigh the negative feedback regarding heat, noise, and audio for many users.

Good build quality, good keyboard, good thermal. Overall very satisfied. If I had to pick a con, it would be the AMD adrenaline software - bit of a hassle to deal with the updates.

Purchased a year ago- was ok but ran hot from day one. Last week ( just out of warranty ) i got a black screen on startup that nothing seems to fix. Multiple posts about this problem online, took to a repair shop and they are unable to diagnose beyond " maybe it's the motherboard". Acts fine, like it wants to work- just black, no external monitor, no hard reset, no unplugging bios battery, regular batttery, worked to get it up and running. Last Lenovo I buy- money down the drain, zero customer support.

After a year of using it works absolutely fine. Laptop is able to handle 3d software like Rhino and Grasshopper with ease. Revit works smoothly along with rendering soft waters like Vray and lumion.

I really like this laptop. Its so much lighter than my OMEN and no where near as loud.
I like the ability to set quiet mode from the keyboard. I was playing a game and it was choppy, but that might be that it's not running from the GPU.

Pros: Solidly built, attractive, seems to perform well. Recharges pretty quickly. Has real I/O ports that I need without using adapters.
Cons: heavy, but I expected that. I did not expect the power supply to weigh as much as the computer! HEAVY with a thick, stiff power cord.
BATTERY only lasts about 3 hours. This is a huge disappointment.
Screen resolution sounds great, but it is too small for me to read things when using full resolution. Setting scaling for 125% makes it barely useable for me.

Pros:
-All AMD architecture provides an excellent gaming experience. You can play the majority of AAA titles at FHD at 90-150fps. You are looking at 45-85 fps on AAA titles running at QHD.
-Keyboard has a nice "feel" to it. I am enjoying the typing experience now that I am used to the left-shifted keyboard.
-Extremely color accurate and vibrant display with plenty of brightness. The screen is gorgeous...nothing else needs to be said about that.
-This rig should satisfy what you need to do from a productivity/gaming standpoint 99.9% of the time.
-It is a snappy laptop. It blows through most processing tasks with ease.
-An underappreciated aspect when purchasing a laptop is how sturdy or well built it is. This is an extremely well built laptop for being a "slim" version. It is feels strong and like it will last for years to come.
Cons:
-No RGB (if that matters to you)
-Number pad causes things to feel a little crunched up. Personally, I like the number pad, but it is certainly true that it would have freed up keyboard space if they would have removed it.
-Runs hot (as to be expected with all AMD)
Overall 9.5/10

I was looking for a laptop to play games when I am on the road. This laptop checked all the boxes. It have been able to play Diablo 4 and Remnant 2 with framerates hovering around 60 fps. This laptop will get warm when gaming and will need to be plugged in. Overall I am satisfied with this laptop.

So I am the type of guy who doesn't work reviews for anything honestly. I finally made a decision to stop buying gaming laptops second hand. So I invested in this laptop for the long run that needed to be able to game but also last a full day for me. This thing was not my first choice. I choose a Legion 5 pro with 3050 TI which BLEW me away! So I was like ok need to get s step up and we all know ryzen has come a long way and is very efficient. I read on here someone talk about the new 14 inch alienware is beast! Well let me tell you look no further you want gaming check! You want to browse and watch content check! This thing is amazing and sleek and a top performer! Thank you Lenovo and Amd for making a laptop that was just for me! By the way I do some content creation on the side look up BL4KVANGUARD ON TWITCH!

Laptop was gorgeous all around, extremely well built. My biggest issue ended up being the deal breaker though. The audio. I was all excited setting this thing up and then I played a YT video on it. I thought there was no way the speakers could working properly. I went through and meticulously made sure all drivers were updated, installed audio enhancing software and even called Lenovo who basically flat out told me this was a limitation with the device... A nearly $2,000 laptop that you can barely hear. My needs require at least respectable sound, so I had to return.

I have owned a few gaming laptops and this is by far my favorite. Everything about it is great. The Ryzen is a perfect processor. It is super fast and sleek. Worth every penny. I use it only for work and browsing and small amounts of gaming. You won’t be disappointed.

I took a chance on pre-owned for this. The condition listed it as excellent. The screen had some fingerprint smudges but easily clean with a microfiber cloth. After initial setup and removing bloatware it is a fantastic option for any gamer on the go that needs more power than a Steam Deck.

I got this laptop for my son to have before returning to college, and he has loved the product. The device runs very smoothly and has a nice display, while also having a good amount of storage and power to run a variety of different applications.
