This laptop had too many issues. Messed up my finals for college and couldn’t deal with how many times it had to get serviced.

I loved this computer upon arrival. I took it everywhere with me, it did everything BASIC that I needed it to do.. as for web browsing. 2 days before the warranty would expire I thankfully decided to pull up my steam account and play 7 Days to Die. About 15 minutes in a small square of pixels froze on the screen. I waited it out, after 10 minutes I had to reboot the computer. It never turned back on. In the beginning of playing the game it did get extremely hot. I did have additional cooling fans underneath the laptop, however 15 minutes of play should not blow up the computer. I returned it to Best Buy and they said they've had a lot of issues with this Model. Needless to say I'm thankful it blew up 2 days before the warranty ended.

We are sorry to hear that you had issues with your Lenovo Legion Slim 7i 16 Gaming Laptop, model number 82TF000RUS. This Legion Slim 7i 16 ships with Windows 11 and the 12th Gen 14-Core/20-Thread Intel Core i7-12700H Processor. Be sure the specific game version you are trying to play is compatible. If the game is compatible, now check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 11. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help. Lenovo
