Really great laptop for school/gaming purchased at 999.99 and honestly it hits all the boxes for its class but one if you’re gaming plugged in , in max performance mode the laptop keybaord and chassis gets pretty hot that it’s not too enjoyable/ mildly painful even however easily would be fixed with an external keyboard in mouse which most gamers use with their laptop setups anyways !

Honestly I'm really surprised for the price point of this laptop, it performs not only gaming but work flow. It is a powerhouse! I love this laptop I believe it is underrated I would highly recommend this to anyone! Only downside is that there's no disc drive. Overall amazing laptop! Lenovo is getting competitive and that's great for us consumers!

I love this computer so much! The colorful keyboard display, how many ports there are, the storage. The screen is picture for graphic design. The only issue is that the wifi attena broke out of the blue. I bought it maybe 5 months ago, never dropped it and it stays on my desk at all times. Easy fix bought a wifi attena, still annoying though.

I absolutely love this computer so far. But then again my old laptop was a Lenovo from 2015, so many things are an upgrade. From the looks alone, each gaze brings me such a burst of joy. I think the Onyx finish looks incredibly professional. In terms of gaming, I'm a casual gamer, this more than checks the box for me. In terms of professional use, the 16 in screen is a huge benefit. The only downside would be the speakers; the speakers point down from the bottom of the laptop, but that's not that big of an issue if you're using external speakers or headphones. As I'm sure you are aware, the slim version of the Legion 7 is incredibly portable. Makes traveling a breeze, be it to airport or local coffee shop. In terms of intel v amd, i'm no youtube tech expert...I was able to get this during their labor day sales, so that's what sold me on this... definitely super happy with the port selection and color of the laptop. I use to have a black lenovo and the Onyx Grey looks far superior. So if you're a casual gamer that primarily uses a laptop for work or school, would definitely recommend this one. It's professional, relatively powerful, and extremely easy on the eyes.

High performing laptop is my best experience yet with Core i7 laptops. Best heat management. Memory, SSD drive and NVIDIA video all work together for great performance. I edit video in HD and 4K--here this laptop nearly matches my tricked-out workstation.

I got as open box and returned because the battery life seemed quite a bit less than advertised. Other than that it was the best laptop I’ve ever had. You really need to have access to a power outlet to enjoy gaming during travel. I don’t think battery technology is where I thought it was at the $1000 open box price point.

Love this laptop. Feels really well built. Super high quality all metal chassis. Great preforming laptop all the way around. A little pricey for base specs (3060 GPU 16GB Ram i7 $1700) is a little steep. Getting it on sale $1299.00 is definitely the sweet spot and glad I waited for the sale.

This Laptop was purchased for my son for School. He is working on getting his certificstions for cyber security. This is a perfect laptop for that, he was able to install a VM and sideload Linux. Great performance, Ram is upgradable to 32GB, SSD is also upgradeable to 2TB.

Against my better judgment, I decided to switch from Asus (which I've used for 15 years or so) to Lenovo and I deeply regret it. Never had a single issue with Asus but this Lenovo has been one frustrating thing after another. And to be clear I've owned this for 3+ years now so I gave it plenty of time for a fair review. Most recently, my camera randomly disappeared which I still haven't been able to successfully resolve so I can't attend work calls which is beyond unacceptable. I gave this thing 2 stars only because of the specs and aesthetics. Otherwise it's just straight junk.

I got this heavily discounted at $1300. I wouldn't buy it at full price. Pros: Excellent specs for high-end gaming Nice Screen Full Keyboard Nice keyboard shortcuts built-in kill switch for webcam Cons: Heavy Laptop burns my skin when playing games (top-notch cooling pad a must) Battery life is non-existent Massive charging brick Speakers are meh at best Brightness is a bit lacking. I keep finding myself trying to make the screen brighter to realize it's already at peak brightness. Trackpad is ok. It's not the worst but far from the best (best being macbook trackpads). For example, you can only press down on the bottom of the trackpad and not from the top.
