The condition was far from excellent, and the unit ran far too hot with the fans running high 100% of the time, even with no load on the CPU/GPU. This may be a good system - hard to say, but was in no condition to be sold. Very disappointed in Best Buy. Three laptop purchases (two new), all defective!

Awesomely slim Beast!

Dropped an extra terabyte drive in it and it screams. Handles intense games with decent FPS even though it is so slim! Love it.

I am extremely happy with my choice again with my new Lenovo. It is lightweight, and the multicolored keyboard lights set a calming mood while illuminating the keyboard so I can work in lower light situations. The screen display is crisp and the speed of the computer allows me to use multiple programs at once with no delay or decreased speed. I highly recommend this computer to everyone.

It’s been awesome and I would definitely buy it again. The only complaint I have is that the battery doesn’t last long compared to other laptops I’ve had so it will be better if you are able to keep it plugged in. It definitely sucks a lot of power when running and the battery drops quicker than my less powerful laptops. It also doesn’t last long in sleep mode when traveling. If it had been in my bag for a day or two, it is usually dead when I go to use it. Other than short battery life, it’s awesome.

Very slow boot times

Mine is taking over 49 seconds to get passed the UEFI bios and start loading windows. Once it does, its only a couole seconds for windows to start.

It's a gaming laptop, so you can't expect miracles. And when it comes to battery life, heat, and noise, it's what you expect. This is not a subtle laptop, and it gets hot enough to hurt a little when it's running under load. Battery life is abysmal, even on power-saving settings; I barely average 2 hours of web-browsing. An excellent laptop of you accept its limitations.

Posted .This Lenovo Legion Slim 7i 16 Gaming Laptop, model number 82TF000RUS, ships with a Integrated 71Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery, which within this model configuration has a battery life of up to 6 hours, depending on the work the device is performing and your Power Management Settings. To maximize battery life between charges, set your Power Management Setting to a Hybrid Mode. Additionally, You can use Lenovo Smart Power to manually control fan and system performance: ( Fn + Q ) option to change the fan speed by undervolting the processor. Some other battery saving tips for extending battery life between charges: Set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery Charge Threshold is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. You can turn off Battery Charge Threshold within the Lenovo Vantage APP installed on this computer. In Vantage select Battery Settings and turn off Battery Charge Threshold, if turned on. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 11 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://websiteforstudents.com/how-to-find-what-is-running-in-windows-11/. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your Windows 11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.
