Not worth its price

Lenovo severely removed the ability to modify settings and customize it. And I didn’t understand the choice of components. A 5700g ryzen that has video but you included a 1060 super? Slow ram. And noisy fans. The computer was dismantled and sold for parts. I kept the ssd and put it into a much more capable machine.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So i bought this PC back in 2021. It allowed me to run multiple things at once without any issues. To be honest it was more then what i could use it for. Fast forward to now, I am upgrading the SSD which is NVMe ( i had no idea) to a 2tb Samsung 990 pro. I upgraded the ram from 16 GB to 48 GB. the reason why im even upgrading is due to wanting the best gaming experience at 1440p and 3-D editing. Otherwise i would have no reason to upgrade the PC. My only con is the 1660 super. It very noisy when running 1440 p for chivalry 2. i have a LG ultra 165 fps monitor and the GPU can not hang with it. To get into detail this specific model is on the higher side of the t5 tier. only thing lacking is the GPU and SSD. From my due diligence i realized the PSU (power) is rated at 650 watts not the typical 400 watts. So you can upgrade the GPU to a 3060 or 4060 no problem. Which is better then the stock 1660 Super GPU. The 256 Gb ssd is a generation 4 m.2. So i thoguht i need a bulky Sd drive and dint want to do the work , not knowing its not that bad of a switch out which is amazing. This computer will probaly go out of date in the next 2 to 3 years as is. If you add in the upgrades it will definetly stack up against some of the higher end Pc's. My overall opinion is that it is a great starting PC for daily use and even up-gradable for more performance. The only downside in the next years will be the motherboard lol which to me is hilarious because Lenovo thought years ahead when designing this PC. I know they dont sell this exact model anymore but if you come across this review i hope it helped in the slighest.
