CANNOT UPGRADE RAM BECAUSE OF LENOVO MOTHERBOARD.

Unable to upgrade ram to any popular brands because the ram operates at 2133mhz. Tried corsair 3600mhz and 3200mhz. Both run at 2133mhz. Turns out the motherboard only supports JEDEC profiled memory which is hard to find information on. Spent numerous trips to best buy only to be disappointed that none of the memory I purchased would work properly.

Even when others stated that i was making a mistake with getting a Lenovo product. My usb’s were not responding to my keyboard and mouse devices but they were providing power to those devices. Was unable to issue a diagnostics check due to being unable to use a keyboard. Geek squad said everything looked good motherboard wise and there was no burning smell or any burn damage on the mb. I sent it in to lenovo to get repaired. Took pictures of the pc as requested by them in case of damaging through transit. Also fyi they provided the shipping label too. I wanted weeks to hear a reply and yesterday i get one saying that the glass panel broke and that I had to pay for a new one,”btw the warranty states they’re liable for it since it was damaged in transit to them while using a label THEY provided”, but they still said i have to pay for the damage that they claim was made by me personally. They said if i dont pay by a certain time then theyd send it back without it being fixed. Also the email stated there was burn smells coming from the pc which is again incorrect since i had no burn smells when i troubleshot the issue and again geek squad said the same thing. Only thing it could be is whatever they did to “fix” the issue caused the burning smell. Im still awaiting a reply back after providing pictures of the pc before i shipped it just to prove it wasnt damaged by me. I only had this pc for 7 months til this defect happened.
