Honestly pretty great, I bought it with my hard earned cash l, first ever big purchase and with a deal of a lifetime but I did have a issue with it after but I resolved it, but the issue was that it froze during a firmware update n wouldn’t finish but unfortunately I had to factory reset it but fortunately I didn’t have much on the pc yet so not major damage, my advice is not to update the firmware updates, just install the windows one but after well pretty great n worth the money

This will be my first review in my life, but I'm so upset with the purchase that I can't put it into words, maybe it will be useful to someone. In order, the computer categorically lacks RAM, I ordered more memory, but only Jedec format memory works with this motherboard, in a nutshell, this is the 2012 standard! That is, I bought a 3600 mhz memory, but in this computer it only works at a speed of 2133 mhz, it is not possible to find a new Jedec standard memory, no one else produces them, the only way out is to buy a used one on Ebay. It's all about the motherboard. But that’s not all, the computer has a usb-c connector but it doesn’t work, it just doesn’t show the picture on the monitor, I even took the computer to Best buy for service, but they said that it should be so, why do I need it then I don't understand. Once again, I specifically bought a second expensive monitor to connect via usb-c, but this is not possible, there is only one hdmi and 3 dp on the video card, as a result, one hdmi is occupied, and the second monitor for usb-c is not working, the best thing that I was advised in the store to buy an adapter in hdmi for 60 dollars. As a result, in order to use this computer normally, I need to throw out the RAM and the motherboard, add another 400 dollars, and then this whole system will probably work fine. Before buying, I even could not imagine that such an expensive computer needs to be upgraded at half the cost. I asked the managers to return the goods even with the loss of part of the money, which was refused.

Decent pc. Would be cool if they told you anything about it prior to purchasing. I’m new to pc and was unaware of GeForce installer. And after a week i realized one of the sticks of ram wasn’t seated properly. That could’ve been bad. Do better “Best Buy”

    A Solid Entry-Level Gaming System

The Lenovo Legion Tower 5 AMD Gaming Desktop is a solid entry-level gaming system that offers a great gaming experience without breaking the bank. I was able to enhance its performance by adding more RAM, utilizing an external m.2 1TB SSD, and upgrading the graphics card. With the addition of 4x16GB RAM, I boosted the system's memory to a whopping 64GB. This upgrade allowed me to tackle even more demanding tasks and run multiple applications simultaneously without any lag or slowdown. In terms of gaming performance, I was particularly impressed with how Diablo 4 ran on this desktop. With graphics set to high and DLSS enabled, I achieved a smooth gameplay experience with an impressive 90 FPS. The visuals were stunning, and the gameplay was immersive. To further enhance storage speed, I opted to use an external m.2 1TB SSD alongside the included 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD. This combination offered faster load times and smoother performance, especially noticeable while playing Final Fantasy 14. With medium settings at 1440p, I enjoyed a remarkable 120 FPS, making the gaming experience incredibly fluid and enjoyable. While the Lenovo Legion Tower 5 comes with a respectable NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, I would recommend considering an upgrade to the 70 or 80 series for even more impressive gaming performance. The system can easily handle these upgrades without requiring any other changes. In conclusion, the Lenovo Legion Tower 5 AMD Gaming Desktop is a commendable entry-level gaming system that can be further enhanced with upgrades. With added RAM and an external SSD, I experienced smooth gameplay in titles like Diablo 4 and Final Fantasy 14. For gamers looking to step into the gaming world with a reliable system, this desktop is a worthy choice. Pros: Solid performance with upgraded RAM (64GB) Impressive gaming performance in titles like Diablo 4 and Final Fantasy 14 Additional external m.2 SSD for enhanced storage speed Upgradeable graphics card for even better performance Good value for an entry-level gaming system Cons: Limited storage space on the included 256GB SSD Recommended upgrade for the graphics card for optimal performance

    Don't trust the motherboard

My parents bought me this PC a little over a year ago for Christmas, PC was great with very little issues. But then, the Lenovo warrantee expired, a few weeks after it expired my PC restarted for an update like normal, but instead of booting, it started to beep. Up came a screen that had several errors on it, saying the fans weren't working, fans were spinning. Trying to press F2 to bypass this and try and boot normally would result in another error, this time being supposedly for BIOS. Took it to best buy after this, they said that it looked to be a motherboard issue, and that it was the 5th one that they saw of the same brand, with the same issue. Geek Squad told me to try and contact Lenovo to see if they would make an exception to the expired Warrantee since the motherboard had probably been degrading for quite a while, and that it was an overall hardware issue since it was faulty. Took it home and contacted Lenovo customer support to try and see if they would make an exception, waited on hold for 45 minutes while they kept redirecting me to higher-ups, then was told that their products had no issues and they wouldn't make any exception to the expired warrantee. Completely ridiculous I don't believe that i'll be buying any other Lenovo products.

    A well-endowed budget gaming PC

This was my first Windows 11 computer, although I've occasionally used a coworker's Windows 11 PC at the office. It's got quite powerful specs for the price, with twice the RAM and a much nicer video card than on my previous PC. This tower has both a roomy hard drive (similar to those on my previous PCs) and a solid state drive (smallish but still roomy enough to hold all of the software I've installed on this computer so far). The games I like to play are almost all older games (Sid Meier's Civilization V is probably the most recent non-casual game), and I've had a few compatibility problems getting them to run properly on such a modern PC. (All such problems thus far have been resolved, thank goodness!) I also am not keen on the trial version of McAfee Antivirus which was pre-installed, as I already own the paid version of a similar product from another publisher. (I would have liked to try the trial version of Norton Antivirus which I thought I had seen mentioned in the product description, but couldn't find it when I was setting up this computer.) Other than those issues, I haven't had any problems installing or using the software I wanted to use on this PC, or transferring over important data files from my previous computer. There is no optical media drive included, but almost everything I want to install can be either downloaded from the Internet or "sneaker-net" installed via a USB flash drive. Should I ever get back into recording "Let's Play" videos for YouTube, I like having the option of using headsets with either dual 3.5mm audio in/out plugs or a USB connector (both easily accessible from the top of the tower, next to the power button). The clear side panel with colored interior lighting is a little gimmicky, but it certainly allows me to easily see if dust is accumulating inside. I'm pretty happy overall with this gaming PC, and hope it lasts at least as long as my previous computer. Recommended.

The Lenovo Legion tower 5 with the rtx 3060 is a beast of a pre built desktop very spacious with plenty of room to upgrade components. Easy to setup just pulled out of the box plugged in and started right up and was able to play games such as tarkov, d2, and r6 with ease. Well worth the money especially when it goes on sale.
