I'd look elsewhere instead of buying this monitor

The biggest issue is that it constantly seems to lose signal where the entire screen goes black, but the power light stays lit. Made sure 2070 drivers were up to date. All drivers current. Bought a different DVI cable. Swapped computers for a 1080ti. Same issues. Unusable if you play anything pvp related. No help from Lenovo, well out of return window for bestbuy, so i'm down to leaving a crappy review and stuck with a bad monitor.

This monitor ships with one HDMI 1.4 version and one DisplayPort 1.2 version port for connecting to a video source like a computer or game console. Be sure your video source is compatible with the monitor's configuration. Be sure the connection is secure at both the monitor and video source ends. Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This monitor uses the same panel as the HP Omen 27i and LG GL850 resulting in great response times for gaming. However there is a $150 discrepancy between the price of the Omen and this monitor, with no real added benefits for the Lenovo other than DP 1.4 which before covid-19 was selling for closer to $400. This panel is currently considered one of not the fastest IPS screens at 1440p resolution getting close to TN levels of performance. The overdrive implementation is excellent and the construction is robust and on par with the Omen, although the Lenovo has a standard 100mm vesa mount where the Omen's mount is in a diamond pattern which could pose problems. Overall, there are subtle differences between monitors using this panel. This would be my choice, followed closely by the Omen.

Flickering issue on left side

I was initially quite happy with it, but over the summer the unit developed a flickering issue - when I turn it on, the left half of the screen lightly flickers for some time - it slightly dims and then brightens repeatedly, for about 10 or 15 minutes. Several others have reported the same issue: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Y-Gaming-Accessories-Curved-Gaming-Monitors/Y27q-20-Flickering-at-low-brightness-left-side-only/m-p/5055815 After some time of dealing with the issue, I decided to write Lenovo Support and ask for help with this issue. Unfortunately, after I provided the information required by my support contact (within one day of them writing to me to request the information), I never received a response. Although I've responded to my support ticket several times, they have not responded with any additional questions or further support. As I've bought several laptops from Lenovo previously and been quite satisfied with them, I'm frustrated that Lenovo seemingly will not stand behind this product or communicate with me about the issue I'm experiencing while this monitor is under warranty (I still have 27 months left under warranty).

No Working USB ports on monitor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this monitor from a Black Friday sale and everything was working well at first but now my USB ports don’t work on the monitor at all as I was using it to charge my wireless headset. For the price that this monitor costs I expected better. Other than that the graphics and frame rates are very smooth.

In order to power the three USB ports on this monitor, you will need to first connect the monitor via the included USB Type A to USB Type B cable to your computer. This will power the USB ports on the monitor.
