Great laptop for those on a budget

Picked it up on sale and have been happy ever since. I did upgrade the ram to 32 gbs and since doing that I’ve seen a major improvement in speed and performance. Plays the games I love at max settings while still getting good fps. Definitely recommend if you don’t have a lot to shell out for a higher end laptop.

Cons, loud fan noise but stays cool and below 75°c for me after long gaming, battery life is very very problematic, stays plugged in all the time I’m on it. Good gaming computer for the price, I have it hooked up to a monitor with a keyboard and mouse for a better experience.

Good value but have realistic expectations

I installed a 1 TB NVMe and more RAM, and can comfortably game at high settings with Discord running as well. Good value for the price as long as you know what to expect.

Powerful laptop at a budget

The laptop handles gaming smoothly at 1080p, and the 144Hz display makes everything feel fast and responsive. Even heavier games run well on medium to high settings. Build quality feels solid, the keyboard is comfortable, and the overall design looks premium. I also like that the RAM and storage can be upgraded easily. A few things to note: the laptop does get warm during long gaming sessions, and the battery life isn’t the best, so it’s definitely a machine you’ll want to use while plugged in. The speakers are also average, but headphones fix that. Overall, if you want a powerful gaming laptop without spending too much, this Lenovo LOQ 4050 is a great choice. Definitely happy with my purchase
