Traded in a 2020 Macbook PRO M1 to try out this LOQ and I am not disappointed. Out of the box this thing runs faster then anything I've had in the past. I did and do recommend upgrading the RAM to minimum 16gb though because you will run into some issues with the 8gb on certain games as other reviewers have pointed out. Battery doesn't last forever but its a gaming laptop and having the cord plugged in provides much better power options.

This PC is way better than what I had before, I'm just not used to having up-to-date hardware. The only issues that I've had have been third-party software being badly optimized (Discord, as an example, is all over the place). A lot of that should be recitified with some more RAM, an upgrade I was going to make anyway. Felt like a veritable steal for the money I paid and has been a worthwhile investment if nothing else.

I got this on sale for $750 so at that price point this thing is awesome. My first foray into pc gaming since late 2000’s. At the sale price upgrading the ram from 8 to 16 was justifiable and still come out ahead. There is also a second ssd m2 slot to add more storage if the 512gb isn’t enough. For $100 I now have 16gb memory and 1.5tb of ssd storage all in for $850 which is way below comparable devices. So if you get this on the sale it’s a 5 star win.

All the problems I had: Bad touchpad - Not sure if it was a system or physical issue Low Ram - Heavier games (or apps) like Marvel Rivals and Fornite you will see lag and must sacrifice quality for performance. ____________________________________________________________________ Good qualities: Normal games can run amazingly well, Valorant, Overwatch, etc. ____________________________________________________________________ Versatility (Would I recommend?): I would only recommend if you just want to do gaming nothing else and don't mind to sacrifice quality. Heavier things like video editing, or other things is not a good investment. It's not terrible, but there are better options.

Great gaming laptop to start your pc gaming journey. I did had to ug the ram and memory but those were mainly cause i wanted to run more demanding games. Overall it works great out of the box.

Great price for performance. Runs almost any game at 60+ fps.

Good laptop PC. Although its better if you travel a lot. Battery doesnt last long tho. If you re a casual gamer, this is the one to start. But try to get it when its on sale lol

Everything from size, weight speed, performance was amazing. I could easily stream, game download at high speeds without any issue at all. Great product!

Bought this while the gaming sale was happening 3 weeks ago. Great computer for the sales price I paid, definitely worth the purchase. The only thing is if you want to game at higher resolutions, high to max settings without it freezing or crashing then upgrade the ram. Personally bought the Vengeance Sodimm 2 x 16gb (32gb) and it runs beautifully.

This laptop has been everything that I have wanted it to be. It plays almost anything that I wish with little to no problems and it is great for work and school. The original price is a little much but if you find it on sale, buy it.

For the sales price this a really good gaming laptop. Big recommemdation is to upgrade the DDR5 RAM since it only comes stock with 8 GB. I was able to add in 2x 16 GB kingston fury sticks and the laptop is handling BG3, helldiver's 2, palworld, and cyberpunk with no issue. Battery life is the only real concern but that occurs with most gaming laptops.

Once I upgraded the RAM, I haven't had any issues running any games on this laptop. It won't run everything on max settings, but you can generally run most games on medium graphics settings with no FPS issues. Again, once the RAM is upgraded. 8GB wasn't NEARLY enough.

Everything got up and running pretty fast. There’s more than enough USB ports and HDMI, the ethernet connector is great. I use this for recording videos and streaming and it’s great. Also, before I even turned it on the first time I upgraded the RAM from 8 to 24. It is easy to take apart and get in there for the upgrade. Once I fired the laptop up, with the added RAM, this was a great deal!
