Best budget gaming laptop if bought on a deal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop about 8 months ago on a big discount, it was 650$ from 999$ and its been great so far. I had an issue with the screen when I first bought it and had to use my warranty to get it fixed. But aside from that Ive had no problems. I mainly use it for work and occasional gaming.l, and if you upgrade the ram to 16gb this laptop can run every game Ive thrown at it at 60+fps. Games Ive played include: Minecraft (120+fps easy), Sea of thieves (70-100fps), Red Dead Redemption 2 (70-80fps), Arkham Knight (60-80fps), etc. All of these games were running at 1080p with mostly high settings. Battery life is also decent, I can get about 4-5 hours of use before it goes bellow 10%. Charging speed is amazing, I can go from 0% to 100% in about an hour of charging.

Handles games like Baldurs Gate 3 perfectly. Battery life isn’t the best compared to my Yoga 7i but it does last for about an hour of gameplay. Definitely recommend this, but get it when on sale!

Laptop is great construction, solid build. Planning to upgrade the ram in the near future. Doesn't look over the top like most gaming laptops. Very nice display. Bad battery life but that doesn't bother me

Another comment mentioned regretting trading in their A16. Of course you did, but you saved money. If you have the wherewithal, a quick YouTube tutorial, this is super easy to upgrade RAM and add addtional storage.

Only gave it a 4 because i had to add another ram chip and a samsung 980 pro m.2 to it. So after another 150 in parts its a solid laptop that should last 5+ years. Battery life gaming sucks but thats to be expected

I bought this gaming laptop during the promotion, and honeslty it is insane. World of tanks, Battlefield, Gta and other games go higher than 120 FPS. I recommend it!

Gta and call of duty run on about 100-270 and for studio type things it is also really good but for that i wont recommend a microsoft studio.

Would have a small issue with the 8 gigs of RAM if it weren’t for them making it a single 8 gig stick so you can add more if needed. So far so good!
