Great entry laptop

He plays Apex, Halo Infinite, Titanfall and Warzone. This laptop handles it all. I would recommend upgrading the ram by adding a second stick or more preferably 2 8gb sticks. Also add another ssd so it can store all the games needed. Minimum an extra 1tb. Very happy with the purchase and it maintain 144hz with some tweaking on most games. Highly recommend for entry level users or those on a budget!

Great Entry Level Gaming Laptop

I didn't want to spend a huge amount of money so I bought this one. I have never had a laptop this fast. Wow. Everything is faster. Even MS Office apps. I tried a few games, and they worked great. I can't comment on the battery since I use it plugged it. I do wish it had more usb ports and an optical drive, but I am using an external optical drive to play my old Warcraft III game. I'll also get a usb hub too. Despite those minor complaints, this is the best computer I've ever had.

If you want to squeeze out more battery life and are completing non-intensive graphics tasks, we recommend utilizing the MUX switch built into this model to turn off the GPU to greatly decrease power draw. This can be done in the Lenovo Vantage app > top right box > GPU working mode, then choosing your preferred method. Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. You could also press the Fn + R key combo to toggle to a lower refresh rate for even more power conservation. We're thrilled to hear that your LOQ 15 has been good otherwise, and we really appreciate you sharing your experience and feedback with us.

The only issue is that it dies very quickly, but it does charge very fast. Overall, the computer was worth it, especially at the sale price. If i were to pay full price, id probably look into a computer with a longer battery life.
