Great performance on most 3D/online games and Android Emulator (e.g.: BlueStacks). Fast connection to game servers through wifi and a very stable system (compared to Asus/Acer laptops which I have been using for the past years). Overall, a really nice and solid gaming laptop that costs almost half of the price as other laptops with the same build.

Great Gaming Laptop for the price

The physical design of this laptop is pretty sturdy and I love that the vents face way from me as opposed to blowing directly into my right hand (like the Nitro). The RTX 4060 works great and so far everything is stable and functioning correctly with no fiddling required. I'm using this for both 3D work and gaming and I have zero complaints. Would highly recommend if you need a gaming laptop that won't break the bank.

Works Perfectly With Linux

When this laptop is on sale it is easily in the top 5 of best laptops in its price range. Only con is battery life. But this is to be expected since the battery itself is not great and this laptop has no integrated GPU, which means it is always using the dedicated 4060 GPU which is power hungry.

I was torn between a Legion or the LOQ but am glad I picked this up on sale. Threw in some more RAM and a SSD and off we go to 1440 gaming with zero issues. Great Beginner Gaming Laptop

I know specs can vary so make sure these are still holding up in whatever year you are considering this. The PC holds up great for any games I try and play on it. Games from GTA 5, Lethal Company, or most recently Doom. The only thing I might upgrade down the road is the storage and the RAM.

Bang for your buck

Having been an Xbox user all my life, decided to buy a couple PS titles off of steam, and to my surprise this plays them at ultra settings. The only knock would be battery life, but I always have my laptop plugged in on conserve battery anyway.

I have never used this laptop without it being plugged in, and it actually has a “smart charging” feature that means I don’t need to unplug it to preserve battery life. However, this setting needs to be turned on in Lenovo Vantage- hence the 4 star rating to its battery life. It is capable of running “unoptimized” games such as Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Marvel Rivals at high graphical settings with ease. At the moment, my main complaint is the number of USB-c ports: there is only one, and I wish there were more.

This can be done in the Lenovo Vantage app > top right box > GPU working mode, then choosing your preferred method. Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. You could also press the Fn + R key combo to toggle to a lower refresh rate for even more power conservation. Worh the money

Battery life is bad if you dont play and do only simple things like waching somethings it only goes 2 hours max. i played cs 2 5 hours non stop suoer high settings with plugged in so it was good performans i didn t see battery drain. The only things when you olay too much it s get hot little bit but as soon as you stop playing for a few min it s Gets cold so fast.

Good for work and play

Got it for work when I travel and it has the added bonus of being powerful enough to game without issue. After a full day lugging it around an airport it does feel heavy. The system was fairly quite underloaded initially. As it warmed up, it did get a little louder, but nothing annoying. Do wish I went with an OLED screen but this was fine for my needs.

It runs very well, has enough storage for me to have 5 or 6 games downloaded, and runs very smoothly. I did a couple hours of research before purchasing and i highly recommend this laptop to anybody who isnt super tech savvy/cares about all the small details. Lenovo has an app where you can track how well its running and you can do scans effortlessly, along with speaking to support members and watching the GPU and CPU

Only slight complaint is the build quality which is expected at this price. Made of a not very durable plastic so for on the go need to be cautious. Other than that the Lenovo software is great and easy to navigate. Solid trackpad and good performance. Hard to beat at this price. For that build quality though you can get laptops that are $1000 more and are worse than this! It’s a good deal especially for a solid entry level gaming laptop.

On average I'll get 2 maybe 3 hours at most with this laptop, the only good side is that it charges pretty quick. But this laptop definitely can't be away from an outlet. In terms of performance, it's a bit iffy. Sometimes it'll lag, and sometimes it'll run very smooth.

To start, both system efficiency and performance can improve with updated drivers and software. We recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.
Also, while this model processor does not feature an iGPU, there are ways to improve battery life. First for context regarding your issue with battery – as you may know there are lots of variables that contribute to battery and in gaming laptops that can increase even more due to their high-powered processors and graphics cards. If you want to squeeze out more battery life and are completing non-intensive tasks, you can take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. You could also press the Fn + R key combo to toggle to a lower refresh rate for even greater power conservation.
