It Has a Purpose .. Just not for me.

I was using it as a secondary display to hold copy, graphic content, and other rich media and the matte finish made some colors look darker and more grey. Not a bad value for a student or someone who works from home. For marketing and communications pros, spend a little more and get a better display.

This monitor ships with AMD FreeSync Technology which is designed to eliminate stuttering and/or tearing in games and videos by locking a display's refresh rate to the frame rate of the graphics card. Also you can adjust to different Display Modes and change screen resolution, both of which may help with the screen flicker issue you mention. Stylish design, display could be richer

This screen provides 100-Percent of the sRGB color gamut (72-Percent NTSC) for excellent color accuracy.
