No music, no creator content applications, no VPN. I can't believe I'm actually going to say this, but I wish my laptop lasted longer than my mobile phone and tablet. I wanted an inexpensive Windows / Linux laptop for the rare "work from home" scenario. It had to be no larger than 14 inches, preferably an all metal build and a battery that lasts at least 6 hours. The advertised battery is 12 hours and roughly 6 with moderate use. Not even close. How do these youtube reviewers and online bloggers get 6 hours out of this thing? 50% Brightness - anything less than 50% is useless for me. Its too dim and gives me a headache 0% backlit keyboard - I like backlit keyboards, but I have to leave it disabled when I'm not near a power source. Also, Windows 11 power options are set to Balanced. Side note: The latest version of Ubuntu LTS will work except system volume cannot be changed, its always maxed at 100%. That's a Linux kernel issue and nothing to do with Lenovo specifically.
