Easy setup. Attractive. Great upgrade to the cheap alarm clocks of years past.

I was a bit skeptical about spending the money for a ‘smart alarm clock’ however it’s a breeze to use and just makes life easier. I’m using about 50% of its overall functionality and look forward to learning more. Overall this product is the best and with its natural dining features, different backgrounds, etc its a clear winner! I’ve using it for over a month now and highly recommend it!

I'm sure some people will be disappointed by this, especially those that don't limit their expectations. This is not meant to replace something like a Nest Hub or Google Home Max. It is expensive at the full MSRP but Best Buy often has this on sale for a much more reasonable price. I have used this before but finally purchased one for myself. The small form factor is perfect for a nightstand. The microphones pick me up without any issues even when I'm a couple of rooms away without having to shout. It doesn't matter if I'm playing music, my phone is right in front of my face, or the TV is playing. This always picks up my voice and does what I ask. I setup the Google Assistant to learn my voice so my wife doesn't accidentally trigger hers. We both have one of these and can use them at the same time without the clocks getting us confused. There was one time when I woke up before an alarm and forgot to turn it off. She couldn't stop the alarm as the Google Assistant wouldn't listen to her. But, if that happens, I whisper the command to turn off that day's alarm and it works just fine without waking her up. The volume of the speaker is excellent. The Assistant's voice is clear and music sounds alright, I think it's about on par with a Nest Mini. But you really shouldn't be using this to listen to music. Maybe when you're falling asleep or as an alarm but that's all I would do. Anything more serious and you should buy a dedicated speaker or one of the larger Lenovo Google Assistant devices. The display is small but large enough to make out the time in the middle of the night or early in the morning. It can get extremely bright but dims more than enough to not bother me at night while still remaining visible. Touch controls require deliberate movement when performing swipes to navigate around but it's intuitive if you've ever used an Android phone. Aside from the small factor, the other selling aspect for me was the lack of a built-in camera. You won't be using this to make Duo calls and that's fine. The display is so small that a mid-range Android smartphone would be better anyways. I thought about getting an Echo Show 5 but the thought of Alexa always watching me, especially in the bedroom, was creepy (I say this as I set my phone on my nightstand with its camera looking at me). There is a spare USB port on the back that you can use to charge devices. I have my smart watch's charging puck plugged into that. It's nothing special, I think it's just 5W (5V, 1A) but that is all my watch needs. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge it, about three times longer than just using a wireless Samsung charger for it. I wouldn't want to charge a smartphone through it but the port is fine for headphones, wireless earbud cases, and smart watches. The only thing somewhat off putting about this, aside from only being available in one color, is that the clock is deeper than I thought. I wish it was flatter like an Echo Show 5. I thought Lenovo initially did this because they put the power supply in the clock but they didn't. There is a large charging puck for this that takes up more space than it should given the clock's power requirements. I had to move some of my plugs and chargers around on my power strip to get this to fit without sticking out or taking over multiple plugs. That's my main knock against this. It takes up more space than you would think just in looking at the pictures. But that's it. I can deal with sacrificing an extra 2-3 square inches on my nightstand for something like this instead of having a larger smart display with a camera. I just want a clock with a color touch screen, letting me customize the clock, with the Google Assistant built-in. I can control all of my smart lights and plugs, my Nest thermostat, and control Spotify on my Sonos speakers. I highly recommend this for the sale price. Get it while you can as Lenovo came out with a new clock. It look like it's the same size but Lenovo took away the color touch screen and went with a white LED display (black background with white LEDs). It looks like a more traditional alarm clock and I guess that's fine. It still has the Google Assistant built-in and acts just like this but with a less customizable display.

Wife is happy. The display is pretty cool, shows current time and weather.

Better than a home mini because of display, good sound from small speaker

Essentially, this is a Nest Home Mini but with an awesome screen. This is a killer product, truly. The way this 'clock' lets you manage your alarms is the best I have seen! Say, 'Hey Google, set a recurring alarm' and the assistant will walk you through setting one up... asking what days and what time ('weekdays', or 'weekend' or even 'every friday') While this is a small device, the screen is very bright, but also dimmable. This screen can even show you the live feed from any of your Google/Next camera, awesome! Oh, and the speaker is on par with the Nest Home Mini (the puck) so it can even play music. If you can find this on sale, it is a great addition to your Google Home.

Really convenient little clock with google assistant. Nice design. Easy to read display. Google assistant allows me to control the other smart devices in the home. Got it on sale for 35 dollars. Great buy

We purchased this product wanting not only an alarm clock, but also to have the google assistant in our room. And what do you know, we got the best of both worlds. Product, is sleek and not overwhelmingly large. Graphics are awesome, and so is the touch response. It communicates with our Google homes devices perfectly as well. Overall highly recommend this.

Again, late to the smart clock train but oh, how happy I am to have hopped on! My clock is amazing. It sets my alarms, plays me music, works with my Google Assistant. What more can you want! You need this in your life!

The "but" is mainly that the flexibility and functionality naturally makes it less convenient for people, like myself, that are used to traditional, e.g. analog, alarm clocks. Please take into account that I am not into voice assistants, and find them more of a nuisance 90% of the time. Pros: - compact - simple, clean, and attractive appearance - USB connection for charging phones, readers, etc. - Google Assistant is available (not important too me, however) - microphone has a hardware off switch for privacy - automatic time sync - on-device UI is okay (with caveats in Cons) - app-controllable (with caveats in Cons) - Morning Routine can summarize the weather, etc. after waking up - automatic nighttime dimming Cons: - pricey for an alarm clock, especially if not on sale - screen buttons for stopping/snoozing the alarm are harder to use than physical tactile buttons would be - I find iOS Assistant and Home apps to be clumsy and awkward to use. I avoid them. - display theme options are quite limited, and mostly not appealing - the process for adding alarms could be easier - on-screen swipes are less than intuitive

I've been wanting to get a new alarm clock and I'm glad I waited and got this one. It's footprint takes up a lot less room than my old, clunky, clock radio. It has good sound, too! Some people don't like that it doesn't have a camera. Personally, I'm glad it doesn't have a camera, especially since I'm using this smart clock in the bedroom.

Over the course of the past year I have had a Google home mini on my nightstand to serve as a alarm clock. This particular device is a perfect option and has allowed me to turn off my phone at night and get a better night's sleep. I'm checking my phone less, while still remaining connected to my smart home devices.

Everything you get out of a google home (Just with a weaker speaker) and everything you get out of a nice digital clock. This clock is a great size so that my nightstand can look cleaner with plenty of space. No use for the voice assistance so I turned that off, but the ability to control the clock from your mobile phone is very convenient.

It was a steal at$40. I wouldn't have paid full price for it but I enjoy my alarm. That's what I mostly use it for. When the alarm goes off on the morning, I just have to tap it a couple times so I don't have to find the "button" on the screen. It has a bunch of different options for the alarm sound. You have multiple options for the clock face. Including your own pictures. I prefer the rotating scenic backgrounds. Another nice feature is the clock face lightens is brightens based on the light in the room. It shows me the current temperature. The sounds isn't half had. Definitely a a few steps up from your phone speaker. It also has a USB port on the back so you can charge your phone or a watch. I really like this feature. Less clutter.
