This is an excellent clock for those who are already familiar with Google assistant and how to use it. I needed a new alarm clock and I did not want to buy one that had the typical scare the heck out of you to wake you up type of alarm. I saw this Lenovo alarm clock on sale at Best Buy on their website and read some of the reviews and decided to give it a shot while it was on sale. I'm very glad I purchased it when I did. Got it for half price plus I had a rewards coupon to use for more money off. I don't want to get into explaining how Google Assistant works, either you know or you don't. If you don't you need to spend time yourself and read up on it online. It really is a great feature and I already use it on my Samsung phone and my Sony TVs which are all Android based. I can get news briefings from the clock. I can have it do a wake up feature and give me all kinds of information that I preset it to. I can do the same for a bedtime feature. It also works as a smart speaker and plays Pandora, iHeartRadio, etc and many other streaming radio stations. The only thing that this doesn't have is a video display to play movies and videos but for the price I got it at which was under $40 you cant expect a camera or video streaming. I personally wouldn't want a camera on my alarm clock anyway. the clock has no problem understanding my voice since I've already trained Google Assistant. You can change settings via your phone or tablet that is already set up with your Google Assistant as they will sync with your Lenovo alarm clock and you can go in that way to look at the status and also change settings. The clock has a pretty loud speaker and for either waking up to music or falling asleep to music just hearing a quick song not loudly it works fantastic. Getting weather updates right on the clock screen at all times is a great feature plus Google Assistant will speak detailed weather information when asked. As far as I can tell this is the only smart clock out there and when on sale it's a must buy. You won't regret it unless you already have a Google home display which I assume would also work as a clock but for an office or just for the bedroom or even a kitchen is perfect. I recommend when on sale.

I have had three of these clocks for nearly a month now. They are great. I like the ability to set random alarms according to my needs. I only gave them four stars for the Wi-Fi disconnect/reconnect issue. For the first week on a near daily basis, I would notice that a random two of them would simultaneously lose Wi-Fi connection and could not reestablish Wi-Fi connection until I unplugged them and re-plugged them in. I finally read on one of the forums that someone changed their router's 2.4GHZ frequency channel to sort. I took a look at my router and the frequency was set for Auto. Once I downloaded and ran both of the following Android apps Wi-Fi Analyzer and Net Analyzer, I could then see that my router was using channel 6. This overlapped with other surrounding Wi-Fi signals in my area. I changed my router channel from Auto to channel 1, which had the least overlap. The next day a random two clocks once again did the reconnect song and dance routine until I power cycled them. After that they haven’t done it since. I probably should have power cycled the clocks after I made the channel change on the router. Appears that the clocks are “sensitive” to overlapping Wi-Fi surrounding signals on the same channel used as your router, even if the Wi-Fi they are connected has a strong signal. Best to find the channel with the least overlap.

This is the best alarm clock I’ve ever had and it’s a lot more than an alarm clock

I'm not sure why I thought I read somewhere that this shows the time on the ceiling. It definitely doesn't. But it's still hands down such a great alarm clock. I bought it so I would have my phone by my bed less at night time. You can customize the wake up tone to alot of nice presets or your own music. There's also a custom wake up, for me the alarm goes off and then it immediately tells me what the weather for the day looks like, anything on my calendar, and news of my choosing. It also functions as a speaker which was a nice surprise.

I like this clock because it's much more than a alarm clock. Connected to the internet, it's a radio, music player,news and weather information machine. Sadly there's much instructions that come with it but online you can find what you are looking for.

Love this little clock. It's easy to set alarms and timers. Getting the weather forecast is very simple, as is accessing my Nest doorbell. My only issue is losing WiFi connectivity periodically, but that might be my router, not the clock. Also, I wish we could have two clocks in the same room. With voice control, the clocks don't know which one you're talking to, so they end up being identical

Originally wanted an alarm for my boys bedroom. Took a chance on this smart clock and OMG my kids love it. Not only they can ask google for weather condition in order to select their clothing for school, but we purchased smart lights and now they talk to google to turn on/off their bedroom lights. They also set their alarms for school. Installation was very smooth. First google device but looking into buying a second smart clock for the master bedroom.

Needed a new bed side clock which you could set display info and brightness. This worked out just fine. Does not take up to much space.

I have it on my bedside table and it's been amazing. Sound is really good and can be really loud if you want it to be. Highly recommend

This little screen is pretty cool. Basically just a mini version of the next hub. Perfect for a night stand. My wife bought one after seeing mine. We use them as an alarm clock and also a digital photo frame. It syncs with google photos.

got this for $40 and is a very good deal, comes with google assistant and doubles as an alarm/ clock! def. worth the money!

Bought this as a bedside clock. Love the fact it auto dims at night. I rarely use the smart features, but the weather is nice and being able to see a live view from my Arlo cameras.

This smart clock has Google assistant built in and works great in a bedroom. Because it's google, your calendar is synced with the clock which suggests setting an alarm. It also has a lightning port to plug in your phone.

It’s easily set up. My kids can easily set their alarms. They can easily listen to music and check the weather too. I love that if I don’t want them to listen to music or it’s too loud I can also control it from my phone if I want to.

I bought this to replace an iHome radio/alarm. It’s the perfect size for a night stand and works with google assistant. It also makes it easy to charge phone with USB port on back.

I wouldn't pay $80 for this but for $40 it's a great device. Three friends ended up with one after seeing it. It's definitely smaller than it looks in photos - think your Grandma's little Westclox. Audio is acceptable if you want to play a little something next to you. Screen looks great and has some customization. I can control my Hue lights with it and the auto brightness is (usually) great so it's not a beaming light at me at night. Overall, really like the features and simple functionality! Would recommend. I have not set up routines, etc yet. I am going to try to see if it will sync my alarms on my phone (Pixel 4 XL) and things like that. One thing I wish it did was integrate my Outlook work calendar, but that's Google's fault.

I bought this unit as a present for my sister who is not into "Smart" anything. I set it up (disappointed it came without a manual) and went through some of what it could do with them. We played music, read books. did a news summary and asked Google lots of questions from bird calls to weather. Setting up lights and outlets will have to wait as they don't feel comfortable doing it and as we all are high risk for the Covid-19 that stuff remains in there boxes for now.

I like it a lot, the alarm volume is great so, It doesn't wake me up right away, o can adjust the brightest on the screen so, it doesn't bother me looking at it in the middle of the night. I live I can play my Spotify music there too.

I bought this because I already have several google assistants, and i wanted one with a display. Because of it's size, it is not as loud as the others, but the display is nice and I find the features favorable.
